Cats Protection - Glasgow Crow Road charity shop

I often donate to this charity shop and generally this is always well received however a couple of times when I’ve called to check if ok to come along and if they are open I have been met by someone really unhelpful on the phone. Whilst I appreciate they close at 5 if I say I’m going to be there before 5 I’m going to be there. Instead I found myself going back and forth with a woman or girl who just wanted to antagonise me. I mean do you want the donations or not. I often give them really good quality items. I don’t need a sermon about that you are still in the shop after 5 but don’t take donations past that just be polite and end the call and say thanks see you soon. I was coming by taxi and paying to get there and not for the first time, you really need to work on some of your customer service.

Drove all the way from Kilmarnock specifically to donate some pet beds which are in mint condition only to be told they couldn't accept them as they only take in donations on a Saturday and today was a Friday. Apparently its more important to adhere to every silly little tenet of the rule book than it is to raise money to help animals in need. What a sick joke. Pathetic. Absolutely pathetic.

Very cheap and honest prices. Too many charity shops expect you to pay full price as if this stuff is new, they have a great rail for things that are 1 pound. And who wouldn't like to help cats by purchasing items.

What a shop. Amazing. Bargain hunters get yourself over here it will make you purr for sure. Staff just so friendly, Had a challenging customer in as I was there and they handled it beautifully. Round of applause.

The prices in this place are a joke. This has to be the worst in the west end for overcharging. A total rip off. Not to mention they seem to have had the same stock, in media at least, for years. I guess they pick through donations ultra carefully for anything they can punt online. Regardless it's a complete waste of time & a travesty of a shop. The mangy cats must be living the life of riley though haha

Fantastic charity shop. At least 4 times larger than most of the other charity shops in town. All clothes are either £3, £2, or £1 (except special items like wedding dresses).There's a great selection of men's clothing as well, which is unusual. Despite the prices, everything is in excellent shape (or it wouldn't be put out) and there are sometimes brand new items with tags.Unfortunately, there is rarely a good selection of children's clothing.

Large charity shop, stocking ladies and gents clothing as well as shoes and some household goods. Prices are extremely reasonable and staff are lovely.

After loosing my Cat this week I wanted to donate her toys and scratch posts, beds etc. Staff very friendly. Shop is actually really lovely. Not like a typical charity shop at all.

Really friendly and helpful staff. Bright and airy shop with a good selection of all sorts of interesting stuff of good quality. An easy place to spend money for a fantastic cause.
