Great club, Mr S is a fab teacher, never gets mad at anyone not even me! Great bunch of fellow students as well, I've made lots of friends, I even consider Mr S himself a friend

I have been bringing my daughter to Mr S for the best part of 18 months now and she has learnt so much and really enjoys the classes.

This really is a fantastic club. There is a clear grading/progression pathway but you’re never forced to grade if you don’t feel ready. There is the opportunity to take part in competitions which is always encouraged, but again there’s no pressure to do so. The instructor is patient, professional and always encouraging. I would highly recommend giving it a go no matter what your age or level of fitness.

Fab club! My son joined during lock down online as something to keep him occupied. I was looking for something to build his confidence and to encourage him to commit to something. He has found a real passion for the sport. The lessons are fun and include lots of fitness, games and practice for grading. His confidence has really grown. He is now a blue belt and loves taking part in the competitions. Mr S is still competing and that shows the students he has to work hard too. Definitely recommend!

Excellent club. First class teaching in a very inclusive environment. My boy has benefitted in so many ways. Highly recommended.

My son loves taekwondo with Mr Shillabeer. He joined when he was about 6, and goes twice a week. Always enjoys every session, and I’ve always appreciated how well the session is tailored to his age and experience

A superb club. Very professional instructors. You could be here decades and still be learning new techniques, knowledge of the sport and meeting new people. It really doesn’t matter how old you are, DS TKD is as good for kids as it is for pensioners. My kids worked their way through belts and gained confidence, self-discipline and the practice of working towards goals at their grading every few months. It’s a superb way to build functional fitness because there are regular large competitions that you can have a go at. The club always does well at competitions as the lead instructor performs at a competitive level and regularly takes home gold medals at the highest level, this experience is all passed down as you prepare for events. Having said that there is absolutely no pressure to fight: half of the sport is technical prowess at your belt.

My Son has been training with DS Taekwondo for 7yrs and has reached black belt during that time. The classes are enjoyable, fun and really well structured for all ages. There are opportunities to join regional and national completions but never pressured. Most of all it's fun, and my son loves it! Would recommend
