Neville Johnson - Head Office

Having this banister rail was something I'd always wanted (seen adverts in magazines) and I'm delighted I've had it done. I'd read the reviews which I found helpful in managing my expectations, for example; I knew there may be a small bit of decoration required afterwards. Personally I had a new stair carpet fitted afterwards as opposed to taking it up/putting it back, so now everything is new. No holiday for me this year - I don't care, I've got a smart hallway and stairs now :-) The carpenter worked quietly and diligently. And the other guys such as the surveyor and initial salesman made everything seamless and easy. Money well spent, and thank you to all at Neville Johnson.

We have just had our staicase banister and newel posts replaced by Neville Johnson with Oak and Glass and it is absolutly superb. Lee, the installer, did a great job, very professional, neat and tidy going above and beyond by fixing a creaky step without being asked, very impressed. Cannot recommend NJ enough, not the cheapest but defiantly the best. Peter

The staircase has completely changed our home. We can’t recommend Neville Johnson highly enough, from the initial consolations around the design to the installation, which saw the fitters stay until past 7pm on a Friday night, to the fitter who came to do some additional work to add to the staircase, it was a fantastic and seamless experience!

We have just had our staircase completed by Neville Johnson.The whole process was trouble free from start to finish.Ben , the fitter was absolutely brilliant and nothing was too much trouble for him.What a tradesman he was and we have nothing but praise for him.Thanks for a great job from a firm which is not the cheapest in the business but one of the best.

Excellent, professional service with a humourous touch from the beginning. Everybody we dealt with at each stage made the whole service go smoothly.The finished product is outstanding and definitely a 'wow' factor.

Exemplary craftmanship and professionalism. We chose the Avon range in light oak. Stairpost moved back and bullnose step inserted. Quality goods, attention to detail from designer visit, surveyor, back office through to fitting and after-sales care. We would highly recommend Neville Johnson. OUTSTANDING START TO FINISHThe designer called Steven Bowie came out to design my staircase and recommended lots of styles and designs to build my lovely staircase within my price range he was AMAZING. . after deciding I got my staircase fitted quicker than what I expected. the quality and look is OUTSTANDING and it looks amazing i went for all glass and black wood, I highly recommend this style to anyone, the first thing people comment when they walk in my home is my staircase. After I had the staircase fitted by the excellent fitter I then was shocked when they sent out a polisher to give it the finishing touches. I would highly recommend Neville Johnson to anyone . There was a delay with the surveyor which I had to chase up which delayed things quite a bit That said, all went great after that. The staircase in medium oak is beautiful. The fitter was a fantastic joiner/carpenter. It's faultless.

Just had a glass staircase fitted by Chris & Alex, just stunning. They were so professional, there work is amazing. All the team have been so helpful and would highly recommend Neville Johnson.

New bedroom - Once our new Bedroom had been designed by the designer which was a great experience…. The experience became very disappointing!Hard Sales wanting payment to secure offers/time frames - payments were made then no acknowledgement or communication. Only had communication when the next payment was due before installation!Installation booking team were not the friendliest or helpful - When we asked for an alternative date!You get allocated a project manager who was supposed to make contact and keep in touch - this never happened.Day of install - install team arrived late, and when they did turn up, apparently it was the office that should have let us know! As the office knew they would be later than agreed!Install team - Team leader was great can not really fault the effort and friendliness but his work mate just looked fed up and like he really didn’t want to be on the job!They had to re-visit as part of the order had not arrived in time - No issue with this!Once the job was completed, we were invoiced the next day for the final payment - again no call to check how the job went and if we were happy with the install!A few days after we decided to move back in to the room and then started to notice a few issues - scratched areas inside the wardrobe, chips on one of the draws, but could only be seen from a certain angle, draws were left full of drill shavings. Nothing major and we absolutely love the new bedroom!I wanted to express our experience with the company, and just let them know how we felt. A manager called me back and was very upfront about not having support for North Wales and that’s probably why the communication had been so poor!We agreed for the original project manager to visit to look at the install, and he visited us on the 15th June 2023, agreed that the install needed some attention and that they would re-order the parts that were chippped and get them replaced -So up to today 6th October 2023 we still haven’t had a call or any information back from then once again!Leaving a negative review is never good for any company, that’s why I called them originally about the experience to give them to chance to rectify the issues and to maybe show we had chosen the right company to install our new bedroom. Unfortunately the chance hasn’t really worked.We absolutely love our new bedroom, and the experience of designing it was great …. But just a shame can’t not get the rest right!
