It's my local, I walk the dogs frequently on the nearby beach. I am so lucky to have all this on my doorstep.

Stunning, relaxing, clean, friendly what more can you ask for. Stayed for a night in motor home with friends. No charge but all donations greatly received as they are hoping to get charitable status. Toilets clean and right next to the harbour. The beach was well used by family's and there was water sports taken place, canoeists, swimmers and kite surfers. What more can you ask for on your own door step. The views were exceptional. Cant wait to return

Gorgeous day today, I loved the completely relaxing vibe of the place - a great step back from a busy life.A few van life" campers had the right idea choosing this as a spot. Some folk fishing

A neatly laid out harbour compared to many. Fairly well kept. Seems to be a popular stop over for the motorhome brigade. I always wonder why it is that people who can spend £70 k on a camper need to stay in car parks for free? At least this is a very picturesque car park.Fishing from the rocks to the left of the harbour will get plenty of dabs and a few flounders, as well as mackerel (very very roughly from July to September for mackerel)

Cute we place North of the river that separates it from a lovely sandy beach. Large flat parking area ideal for parking camper vans (you'll see plenty during the summer). Public toilets are available, although not the best. The small harbour has a gentle ramp ideal for loading/unloading water craft (I've often seen jetski here) and a safe small sandy beach. If you set off up the small cliff there's a path that will lead you to Slains Castle (it's about a 30 min walk I think).
