I placed request to chips away for repair to scratches on my front bumper.I received a call from Billy Ingram within 3 hours arranging to call in the following day. When Billy arrived he gave me a price and said he could do it at that time. One and a half hours job complete to Billy's usual perfect standard! That was 23 hours from placing call to job done! Better service you will not find. I have had a previous job done from Billy and I can do nothing but praise his service and workmanship. Many thanks

Phoned Chipsaway whom linked me with the local service based in Kirkcaldy. As I was not contacted as told I phoned again then scheduled a visit for quote. They did not turn up at scheduled time therefore queried if still able to come. Was told it will happen in the afternoon - it didn't. I was again told they are busy and will contact me later". We'll guess what

Used website to ask for quote and added images as per advice on website. Received email to say “got your email” and give name of who the repair chap would be. Sent further email direct to Billy and still waiting. I’d even have liked a “no thank you I can fix it” message. Pretty poor communication.

Asked for estimate for stone chip repairs just before lockdown, Billy said he'd come back back to me post lockdown but never did. Changed my car and went back to Chips Away for stone chips on the new one. Billy got in touch to say really busy send photos which I did. He replied without estimate and now won't reply to my query or indeed request to estimate the cost. Gave up after I sent further email and now off to use a different company. I have neither the time or inclination to chase a company to try and give them work.
