I was recommended to Rich by a local firm that had recently refurbished my wheels. Rich was a pleasure to deal with from start to finish. He is a absolute gent and professional and carried out a full paint correction and ceramic coat on my 2019 Golf R 9 months ago. I couldnt have been more satisfied with the result and the hard work and attention to detail he put in - my car still looks stunning today! Fantastic service from Refined Detail.Instead of our new car being a build to order we found one in stock that matched our spec in the UK already - so unexpectedly we had a much earlier need for it to have a Protection Detail.Richard fitted it in amongst his existing work despite being fully booked which I was hugely grateful for, especially given the time of the year wanting to get the paint and interior protected.We opted for the full new car protection detail, inside and wheels off with 2 layers of ceramic coating. With only 300miles on the clock having come fresh from the dealer there was a huge difference to the paint after Richard had worked his magic. Very pleased with the results and the car is nicely protected.Great communication through the process with Richard sending images and updates on progress which was great to see. Before and After shots showing the real impact of his work.Have been a long time follower of his Instagram feed (mostly to enjoy looking at all of the great cars he works on) so was great to meet him. And couldn't be more pleased with the work.Would definitely recommend!

Reached out to Richard @ Refined having taken delivery of a used Golf GTI Performance and wanted the best quality/value detail work carried out as i have never been too keen on the dealer add on packs.. The car had quite significant paint & wheel defects that need correction (thanks to some questionable mobile/smart repairs carried out by the dealer). All defects are now gone and the car is immaculate! On collection it genuinely felt like i was picking up a brand new car and i would highly recommend anyone considering detailing or paint correction should reach out to them to discuss!

I've been using Richard to detail my cars three times a year for the last 8 years now. The quality of his work is astounding. He is always prompt, polite, well-organised, thorough, and possesses an extraordinary ability to rigorously analyse and rectify any minor issues, as well as a comprehensive knowledge of both cars and his products. He works too hard and too long, but loves his work. Recommended.

A week after I picked up a GT4 from Porsche I spoke to a few PPF installers and instantly loved what I saw at Refined Detail. Richard is super meticulous in his explanations, which are all as transparent as the PPF him and his team installs.I've had PPF on another car and the difference in quality and craftsmanship is night and day. Up front I made it very clear I didn't want to see any edges. Richard took the time to explain some are inevitable and that he would do his utmost best to reduce the amount of edging. When I picked up the car the results were amazing! I was truly blown away. The approach and attention to detail was second-to-none. You know sometimes when you spend a lot of money and you think That was money well spent". This was one of those moments.I was also very impressed with Richard's updates. Despite having a full workshop everyday he still the found time to keep me posted. Richard also went above and beyond to rescue me the evening I picked up the car (long story).A true gent

Richard has done excellent work on my classic1970 eType S2 FHC after it had been completely mechanically rebuilt with back to bare metal OEM re-paint. Unfortunately the body shop involved went out of business after the full car respray without the final paint preparation being completed to the paintwork showroom finish.Richard de-nibbed, wet sanded and then detailed the paint to it's full final wax finish and the car also received a full engine bay detailing as well.The job he did was fantastic, highly detailed and I am very pleased with how well the final paintwork finish looks especially under showroom conditions.The car is now ready for sale - Thank you Richard

Had my car polished and detailed before an extensive PPF application and then ceramic coated the whole car including the wheels and brake callipers. So impressed with the final result and the guys are so friendly and happy to answer any questions and really went above and beyond to get the car sorted. 100% recommend them

Found Richard by chance, required paint correction to roof after bird droppings left on paintwork for too long, then a protection detail.Couldn’t recommend Refined highly enough went out of his way to talk me through the process and gave me options, end results far exceeded my expectations and he even took the time to talk me through after care / advice on the car.If you looking for a detailer you will not be disappointed

Not only is Richard’s work incredibly thorough, detailed and performed with years of professional expertise and artistry, he is one of the nicest people you’ll ever meet. He did my Golf R Estate almost 3 years ago and the results are still outstanding every time I wash it! Cannot recommend him highly enough. You will not be disappointed.
