We've just used G A Lomer to move us from Sussex to Stroud and we were so pleased we chose them. The move was spread over 3 days and was carried out with care for our belongings and extremely professional. The team worked very hard and we're always polite, friendly and chirpy! Many thanks to all the team!

Three very fit men came to collect my baby grand piano. With skill, speed and humour they took it apart, packed it onto a tailored board, put a skate board underneath and disappeared off to their van.Thoroughly professional, would recommend to anyone and for general removals as well.

Excellent team. Quietly and professionally carried out the job of packing and removing my home contents to storage. Just needed regular cups of tea to fuel them!

Absolutely fantastic service. These amazing guys packed our 3 bed semi up so slickly but very carefully on the Thursday. They were friendly, very helpful, respectful and very efficient. On Friday morning they returned bang on time to finish the last few bits before moving around to our new property where they were very patient.Once we got the keys the guys worked so hard getting all our heavy furniture in carefully and remade our beds and wardrobes for us - this was no easy mission and took time but they stayed jovial! We had an awful lot of boxes and we are so very grateful for their hard work.We are now working our way through unpacking but so far everything has been in the correct rooms and labelled so that we have been able to find things.So very impressed with Lomers packing and moving service and will not hesitate to reccomend them. Made moving house easy for us thank you so very much.

We provisionally booked in our moving date with Lomer a month in advance, filled out all the paperwork and were told our date was pencilled and to call just before exchange. Called just before exchange (as instructed) to firm up the timings of the day and Lomer had given the day to someone else. No call to inform us, no opportunity to have our 'pencilled' date. So now we have two small children and a three bedroom house to move in three days' time and no removal firm. Terrible business practice.

We booked Lomers to move us from Billingshurst to Wisborough green, the two men who did the removal, Jack and Steve were fantastic, polite caring and careful, nothing was broken, they took the upmost care, fantastic job.

Expensive, not worth the money, awful aftercare. No reply for a week when asked to collect boxes after the move and threatened to be charged with damage to boxes if I left them outside to be collected.Happy to take your money for expensive service but don’t care about you after that.The chaps doing the move were excellent, but there are other great companies out there with better service without costing a small fortune.Detail below———We had another mover booked for our home move, who pulled out a week before the move. They recommended G A Lomer and sons.The quote was a lot more expensive than we were expected (over 2k for a 3-bed semi and garden shed and office, we’d paid £1,200 previously to move in), but we were tight on time and no one else we’d been recommended had availability. We asked for a discount and got it just under 2k, but still pricy. It seemed worth it though as they looked like a high end company and said they would collect boxes after - no caveats mentioned but I’m sure it was buried in the small print.The move itself was good - big vans, three friendly chaps each day and the move went smoothly.When I emailed to ask about getting the boxes collected, they didn’t reply for over a week. We needed them collecting to get more furniture delivered. I chased again after a week and was told thet didn’t have another available to collect the boxes and this service wasn’t guaranteed, that if I left them outside I would be charged for them and I could always return them myself (nearly an hours drive away and I’d need a van!). I replied saying this wasn’t great service and that I needed the space and I’ve not yet had a reply.Nearly 2k paid and that doesn’t cover the cost of the already used boxes.In short, the guys doing the move are great but the team behind them are only interested in taking your money - after that, they don’t care!

Scumbags posted their advert to us in a British Heart Foundation envelope. Such a scummy thing to do impersonating a charity.

I was delighted to use Lomers for the 2nd time this year including their packing service.Their service is professionally executed, smooth, and trouble-free. And even with the most trickiest & ungainly large furniture items, they always seems to find a way of managing them!Once again, I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Lomers.

Items broken, damaged and lost. Personal items not packed properly and found loose on the garage floor damaged and dirty. Boxes not put in respective rooms as labelled, which has made unpacking much harder. John Lewis master bed not put back together properly and the company blamed my 'wonky floor'. John Lewis came and fixed the bed. I made a claim over three weeks ago and the company has not responded. Neither did they respond to my chaser email. Would not recommend or use again. Hugely disappointing.
