Been using Cannon Steel for 30 years and they always offer a prompt, competitively priced option.

Terrible quality, workshop foreman needs the sack letting work out like this.Spoke to gary to confirm beams will be cut to exact size and I was told they will be cut on the saw. Instead they are all over size 5-30mm cut by a blind man who doesn't know how to use a square or a cutting torch. Couldn't even take the slag off and paints straight over the top. Worse then what you see on demo work.This now means I need to spend time marking out and cutting all beams on site with a grinder. If this was the case I would have just ordered stock bars and cut myself. Really not happy.Was also told they will be delivered on a 14m reach hiab, it was more like 5m so had a great time trying to move them by hand.Tried contacting the company regarding this but no response typically.I am in the industry and Won't use again or suggest to any clients in the future. I'll be sure to make sure others avoid using Cannon steel.This I why I shouldn't pay for things until they are on site. Not impressed at all.

we send them the drawing, they made a quote for the job, kept delaying & delaying then they said we can't do it as we busy with big jobs after wasting 2 months.they always promised calling back and never did even once

Awesome service from Gary and Lee. My structural engineer had spec'd some overly fussy design details for a structural box frame - Gary and Lee dealt with my many queries really professionally and nothing was too much trouble, even my multiple amendments to the final sizing. Thoroughly recommend them and as a self builder they were the font of all knowledge for all my technical queries. Will use again !
