I visited The Cockatoo Club while on a short visit to Manchester on a Thursday with their open mic night. The staff were lovely and the drinks were very nice. David the pianist and singer, and all the other performers were fabulous. I met the owner who was hosting and asked if he would perform one of my favourite songs in exchange for a drink and he was a brilliant sport. He did a great rendition of La Cage Aux Folles and was also very nice. The Cockatoo Club is a must visit if you are in the Gay Village. I had a wonderful time and look forward to visiting again. Thank you Cockatoo Club, you’re wonderful.

Lunch time Bottomless brunch1-2.30pmAll you can drink cocktails and food *****Avoid avoid avoidWe spent 40 pound a head. This time last year we did a bottomless brunch at Peaky Blinders and also paid £40 a head. The difference in the experience between both was night and day. Peaky blinders was top class food, cocktails and service. Why do the LGBT community continue to run tacky events like this and charge a premium. I am a gay man and was looking to what was advertised as a great few hours with lovely food and cocktails and great entertainment. The food was a stale wrap with a little bit of chicken. The chips were hard.Cocktails if that is what you would call them, jusgs of ice and water. Glassed that were stained and not clean. We sat there with empty glasses half the time. They only filled our glasses from jugs controlled by waiting staff.2 flavours of cocktails that really weren't cocktails more like diluted water.A drag show that both Queens no more wanted to be there. Sang two songs in the 1st part and went off for over 25 minutes. Took 3 long breaks in just over an hour.Drinks stopped coming around at 2.15 pm and not 2.30 pm like was advertised. So like I said charge a premium which I have no issue in paying but got served up a tacky shambles of a so called bottomless brunch.I will and have been telling everyone I know to avoid and save there hard earned £40 !!

Went to the first Frockatoo Drag Brunch and had such a good time. The food for the brunch was great, with a vegan option too. Tasty cocktails, all served by super friendly staff. Really cozy atmosphere, I look forward to coming back for more drinks and events!

Went to the Frockatoo Drag Brunch yesterday and had an absolute blast! Great atmosphere with a wide range of people all superbly entertained by Annabelle Lecter and Aunty Ginger. The hospitality staff are top notch at the Cockatoo - don’t think my glass was empty for longer than 30 seconds at any point! Can’t recommend the Cockatoo or the event - Frockatoo Drag Brunch - highly enough!

Absolutely amazing atmosphere and brilliant staff. Me and my friends came in for one drink but stayed for the show and enjoyed the performance. The staff were so kind and friendly. Jade was very attentive all night making sure we had everything we needed, if not for her telling us about the show we probably would have left sooner. Amazing experience will definitely be back next time were in town

The Cockatoo is a fantastic spot any day of the week, but Sundays are special with their “Sing on Sunday” show hosted by the amazing Vivienne Lynsey and DJ Poni! It’s a blast with a great mix of songs, and the audience gets to join in. The cocktails are top-notch and well-priced, too. Definitely my favorite place for a relaxed yet lively atmosphere. Check it out - you won’t be disappointed!

Amazing evening! Went there with friends to see the cabaret show with Missie Jay and she was amazing! It was our first time seeing a drag show and we weren’t disappointed, she was hilarious and an incredible singer! The service was great as well and the atmosphere was also amazing! Thank you for a wonderful evening ☺️❤️
