Brodsworth Hall and Gardens
Lovely lovely place, a Yorkshire and English Heritage gem. The gardens are stunning so colourful. All path ways in good order and well signed. And we visited on a Sunday when they had a brass band playing in the garden area.Well done English heritage.

We didn’t arrive early enough to tour the house but the grounds were amazing! A great place to explore with the whole family. There’s a cafe, ice cream truck, playground and gift shop in site. You can easily spend 1-2 hours exploring and not see the same thing twice. Big free parking lot as well, can’t wait to see the gardens in spring!

Wow so beautiful! The garden is absolutely beautiful such a lovely walk especially on a beautiful day like today. The house has so much history really interesting to look around, there are guides everywhere who will tell you something interesting. Luckily we had membership so was free to enter and free to park. We will return again with children can't wait!

Visited in December so only the Servants wing was open but still very interesting... The gardens here are beautiful and on their own well worth a visit

Well worth a visit! The gardens have been beautifully restored and look fantastic. The fountain garden is full of big bold planting and is stunning. The hedges on the boundaries are beautifully shaped, someone is clearly great at topiary! My favourite was the sunken garden area near the pet cemetery, it's on various levels and is a mixture of natural stone and beautiful plants. The outside of the house has been restored and looks magnificent, but the inside has been conserved. Walking through the rooms, you can see the full story of the house and the family that owned it. It's a mixture of things from when the house was first built right up to when the owners died, a true living history. So interesting. There's also a good cafe with plenty of seating but the cafe itself is small and has few staff so the queue gets long. The only negative is getting there. If you're using public transport, the nearest bus stop is in Marr, and then you walk for 1 mile down a country lane with narrow verges.

Loved this place as there's so much to see, I personally think you need to visit more than once to take in all they have done to make it a informative visit. There's very helpful staff to give out information about all aspects of the hall and after you've finished in the house there's quite a beautiful garden to walk around to finish off the day.

Brodsworth Hall and Gardens is a victorian Manor house set in 10 acres of grounds. The house has been beautifully preserved and has been kept as it was when it was vacated showing how they lived in those times. The gardens has been restored to their former glory and there are many walks throughout the grounds. There is also a lovely tea room in the house. Thoroughly worth a visit.

First time visit and it was amazing! Spent several hours here. Loved their immaculate gardens, but also the house itself. The English Heritage volunteers were so friendly, knowledgeable and helpful, making the tour of the house so much more enjoyable.I spent over 3 hours here, but could have easily stayed longer.

A beautiful day for a garden walk around. The gardeners were doing their winter work and it was still gorgeous! Lots to see, learn and appreciate!Inside was dressed for Father Christmas and prepped for winter, so no tours are allowed.

Lovely place to visit, helpful and knowledgeable staff.Free parkingCafe on site, note light bites served until noon and then lunch menu is on. But there is sandwiches and cakes no matter the time.It really is a beautifully well looked after house and the gardens are expertly cared for. Will be returning in the school holidays with my son as the playground also looks plenty on fun.
