Premier Kickboxing & Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu

I visited this gym to support a REORG seminar last year. We were welcomed like family that evening and the atmosphere was amazing. I have since taken the decision to make the 1.5 hour round trip to train with this fantastic team every week. I train with spinal and brain injuries, and get treated the same as every other member which is refreshing. Coach, Stuart, knows my limitations and is always willing to allow me to push those limits whilst ensuring that I stay fit to train for the next session. Great fun, zero egos, safe, friendly and rewarding experience.

I recently relocated and a few months after moving down was looking for a martial arts club having trained in a few different arts previously. Id always fancied trying BJJ and popped into Premier Kickboxing . I can only compliment Stuart and Nula for being very helpful and friendly. I’ve been training for a couple of months now and have only positives from it. Stuart is always very welcoming and friendly and is always happy to demonstrate and explain the differing techniques ( even when I ask to see it ‘one more time’).The other students are very friendly and happy to help me learn. The atmosphere is always good - which stems from a good instructor.I’d highly recommend this club to anyone thinking about training. Just pop in and have a chat to Stuart and you’ll see how enthusiastic he is !

My wife really enjoyed the classes while she could attend, however due to medical reasons she had to cancel her classes and it turns out there is a 30 day canclation period meaning even though she can't attend through no fault of her own she still has to pay the £55 for next month. As a side not for anyone looking to join just be aware of the fact that you will have to pay for a induction and boxing gloves which are not included in the monthly fee.

I’ve trained at multiple gyms and none have compared to premier. Feel so at home there with a cracking team and amazing staff! Definitely would recommend to all levels of fighters, the training is intense but you never feel like you’re behind anyone else thanks to Stuart’s top class coaching. Come down and meet the squad

Fantastic facilities alongside a genuinely family friendly environment. Stuart acts as a role model and a teacher to all of his students whether they are kids or adults. My Son attends 3 times a week and is buzzing before and after every class. Great for fitness and to learn important life skills. Highly recommend.

Best thing I’ve ever done!I thought this would be another one of my failed attempts to get fit! I was very wrong, been going since November and absolutely love it! Started off doing two classes a week and now I’m doing six!Stuart is a brilliant teacher with the perfect balance of keeping it fun and making sure you understand. Clearly very passionate about what he does and makes that very infectious to all.As a female this has given me such a confidence boost. before I started I felt pretty venerable but now I feel I stand a better chance if the unfortunate event were to ever happen. All that aside I’ve lost a shed load of weight and my fitness has rocketed!Thanks so much to Stuart and Nula what a brilliant welcoming couple, Devon has gained a truly fabulous pair!

Amazing martial arts gym, I felt part of their family from the first lesson. Both of my children and myself train here and we would recommend it to anyone wanting to get fit, lose weight or just meet new friends. Nula and Stuart are the most amazing people ever and will do everything they can to make you feel welcome :) Come along and see for yourself!

Love coming to training, even though I can’t make it as often as I’d like! Massively helped my confidence and anxiety, a great team atmosphere, always welcoming and uplifting. Nula and Stuart are always on hand to help with any questions and ease any worries.Ladies I would thoroughly recommend trying it out. It’s always daunting starting something new but you’ll love it, such a great stress reliever and a fab work out! It’s not hard to pick up and everyone here is really supportive. Every time I leave after a session I feel so much better.

Never done martial arts before so was really anxious at first, but that quickly went away due to the fact that everyone was so welcoming and helpful. Great Sensei/coach with lots of experience and knowledge combined with a wicked group of people that just help lift each other up, makes for a great atmosphere and creates a proper little family vibe.No discrimination, just love!Best therapy ever.

Absolutely amazing place, cannot recommend it enough. It is ran by two exceptional people, Stuart and Nula, who are only too happy to help with any questions etc. Sessions are hard work and brilliant exercise, you’ll always leave on a high. Everyone that trains there is super kind too and are an incredibly inclusive bunch so you never feel left out etc. All in all it’s a phenomenal place :)
