What a lovely , friendly place to spend time. Always events to look forward to, both for sailors and non sailors. Children always welcome and the events secretary Sue regularly arranges quizzes, partys and other activities.

It's a good place to go to meet new people I am a young lady I go to Rocker yacht club it's nice to go dancing there at the Disco on a Thursday night at the marina all my friends and new friends it's only £ 3 and there is a raffle I would recommend it to anyone who is a young person go out and have a good time

I have visited Sunderland Yacht Club several times in the last fortnight and I have found the members very welcoming. As a complete beginner with no sailing experience they helped and offered advice. I sailed for the first time on Saturday and really enjoyed it. Very family oriented club with very experienced instructors there to help. Worth a visit.

My son and I had the good fortune to drive down from the far north of Scotland to buy a yacht from some lovely people at SYC.We were given every help and assistance from dedicated people I would be proud to call friends.On our arrival the kitchen stayed open to feed us with some marvelous beef.The little seafront cafe made us a great breakfast.We received a great deal of encouragement and professional support.Thanks from us both, see you all in February and again in April.
