Always helpful and knowledgeable. Used the library for slings for both my children and been grateful for the advice on the variety of styles of doing a available and their pros and cons.

The sling library offers a fantastic service for parents and parents to be. I never knew there was so much to consider when purchasing a baby sling, and attending one of the demo workshops means I feel much more confident that I will be able to make a safe and sound purchase when we come to buy our baby sling. The lady who runs it is very down to earth, pragmatic and appraochable, and genuinely passionate about ensuring you have information enough to make sound choices. I have recommended her to all of the ladies in my antenatal classes, both Kirklees run and NCT. It's called a library as you can borrow slings to try out for a small fee, but thee is no cost to the demo and advice. Well worth a visit.

The sling library has a variety of slings available for parents of newborns to toddlers and beyond. The staff knowledge is impressive, they are committed to safe carrying and can advise on any carriers/slings you have or advise on their stock, making sure you and baby/toddler are happy. Prices to rent are very reasonable and it’s very accessible. Would highly recommend to anyone in or near Halifax and Huddersfield areas

Really friendly, helpful volunteers. I recieved some great advice on how to use my own sling so I would be more comfortable carrying my 20month old.

A great place for parents/carers to be and parents/carers of of newborn, toddler and beyond to meet up, and learn about carrying small folk in all manner of slings and carriers. Straightforward, no nonsense advice - and the ability to rent for a fraction of the price of purchase, until you find your unique 'fit'... all whilst meeting others in the same boat. Transformative in my parenting journey, highly recommended to all.

Just got back from my first Slinglibrary experience at Babyccinos, Mirfield. Rachel and her volunteers gave wonderful advice and guidance in helping me perfect my strechy sling technique. I really wanted to try out a different type of sling for my very active baby and have come away with a beautiful woven wrap. Really enjoyed my morning and am looking forward to putting this wrap to work. Highly reccommended :) Fantastic venue too!

This sling library is totally amazing! Thanks to the very educated recommendations of the consultant, I was able to carry both my kids for a very long time and still carrying my youngest. Thank you for your essential work! All new parents should visit a sling library.

Great service for mums to be, new mums and even mums of toddlers like me! I needed a carrier for school run, walks when little legs get tired and general errands, the sling library is great as you can try different slings and see what suits without wasting loads of money. It took a couple of goes but I’ve found a fab product I have now gone on to purchase. The ladies are so friendly and helpful. I just wish I’d visited earlier!

I first came to sling library when my little boy was 5 weeks old and my only regret is not going earlier. He's now nearly 1 and in the last year we've been back multiple times - we've had some lovely family time out and about thanks to our slings and little man now gets excited when he sees me getting a wrap out! Brilliant service that I'd recommend to everyone.
