Store opened but could not sell stock item poor service won't be using again

Absolutely shocking! My Basingstoke branch cannot tell me why mailbox services are stopping. But they informed me that it was to do with HMRC and to contact the head office. The head office in London didn’t know it was stopping, until asking and when I asked if it was something to do with HMRC or if it was a decision made by Access Self Storage, the receptionist ask someone who could not give any reason and when I asked if anyone was going to inform the current occupiers, they said the branch should be sending out emails to inform people. If I had not gone into my branch today, to change my DD, I have not received a letter, and so I still wouldn’t know this was happening. Access Self Storage obviously doesn’t care about its current customers, because no mailbox customers are being informed.

Excellent service from day one at the Reading depot. A fantastic team there that will always go above and beyond. I feel looked after and feel my property is secure.

£150000 of gear stolen from inside the storageSo I have now emailed and called multiple times about the equipment that I have had stolen from inside the storage unit due to inadequate safe guards and security but they won’t return calls or emails, the police have investigate and believe it’s a major crime and I can’t even talk with these people about insurance... they are hoping I’m going away but by not taking with me it’s is making more angry.....DO NOT STORE WITH THIS COMPANY the units have a serous design fault

Do not store with them, masked thieves are in operation in their stores , very scary.. it's unsafe for customers and their belongings. They are over sellingtheir stores security features and failed to deliver. Their headquarters wouldn't do anything about it. Many customers have been affected at least you can communicate with your customers like a responsible company.

Tried to contact by telephone to resolve bill on behalf of sister who is overseas. Company policy not to transfer calls, unless you have a named contact. No telephone number or contact name on their correspondence. Beware.

Rebecca O. was extremely helpful with finding the right storage. She answered all my questions and she is very polite. I have rated the company a 5*, but honestly the 5* is due to Rebecca's great customer service skills.

AVOID THIS COMPANYVoicing what a previous reviewer has said.There is NO cctv in the areas around the units. Only apparently by lift or paying bay. When asked for a copy of proof of who took items from the unit had goods in and activity around it - they can’t provide. And shockingly informed they don’t have that much cctv within their centre. So they’re advertised “24hr cctv coverage for your safety and secuirity” is in fact useless to have a record of who has been in and out of a unit.AVOID

Run away from these crooks. The Harrow branch is awful. I complained about their employee who was extremely rude to me. Their Manager never bothered to respond though I insisted on their reply. Their Head office was equally useless. Eventually, when I asked for a discount as a solution to my complaint, they came up with the offer of £50 discount only. They do not have any idea about the Customer services. Do not waste your money storing your stuff with them. I do not give them any stars at all, for some reason you cannot write a comment here unless you rate them.
