Our band The Reunion played at the Old black bull, great venue and a great atmosphere, friendly , helpful staff and customers . Worth a night out .

Fantastic local pub based in the city centre. Very difficult to find this kind of pub these days. Everyone is friendly and welcoming from the moment you enter. They have a great range of drinks, from real ale to Guinness to a large selection of draught lagers to ciders.The top shelf selection here is beyond anything else you find in other places. If you want it this place has it! Prices are as expected for a city centre pub although they have so many offers on you will always find a great deal.On friday and Saturday nights they have bands on every single week. I have not seen an atmosphere in a pub like this since before the dreaded lockdown and longer.There is also an outside seating area to the back. Which has lots of outside seating.Overall a fantastic place to visit.

Great place for a pint. Friendly and helpful staff who seem to be covid aware. Good selection of ales and spirits at reasonable prices for Preston. Quite a nice seating area out back if the weather's fine. Clean and fresh toilets. ☆☆☆☆☆

I haven't eaten here but its fast becoming the number 1 rock bar in Preston. Always a band or singer on Fridays and Saturdays. Check their website for latest updates. Good beer cocktails and shots always a great atmosphere

Can't comment on food so I gave 4 stars. The band I saw were very very trebley and it was hard to stay and enjoy so we all agreed to leave. Shame as a few of the guys had never heard live rock bands before.

Absolutely horrendous experience. Walked in with a couple of friends. Within the first 5 seconds the bartender is glaring at us and demanding we order drinks to stay. Asked how much it was for a drink. £4 for a Diet Coke. Ridiculous prices.No wonder it was empty when we walked in. If I could leave 0 stars I would. If you aren’t a regular DONT GO HERE.

awful atmosphere with equally awful staff. went in and was forced for us all to buy drinks for £4 ( these being soft drinks). We could not stay unless we all bought drinks. did not feel welcomed and was glared at from the moment we stepped into the pub. Would not recommend ❤️

Has a horrible atmosphere about the place. Very unwelcoming and as soon as we walked in we were glared at by a member of staff. The only good thing about the place was the toilets. I will not be returning.

OK. Hand on heart, we walked past earlier and it is a beautiful building. Thought it was a Greene King pub but apparently recently sold off. Jorvic and Madge expected a range of real ales. Only one available, which to be fair was very good. Inside has been gutted and had music blaring out for an almost empty pub. Not a place for old gits like me.
