Alexandra's Fur Babies

Needed a dog walker for our new puppy, and was recommended Alex by someone else on our estate. We really wanted the best for our dog of course as anyone would, and straight away from her first visit to introduce herself to our dog we could straight away tell that he loved her and they would get on just fine :) getting the videos from her walks with him you can see how happy he is either on a group walk or just on his own, and obviously knowing that our puppy was so happy and in good hands while we couldn’t look after him meant the world to us. Alex has been flexible with taking him out around our working hours to suit when he is on his own and has really helped with training and always been able to answer our question or issues regarding our puppy, and his behaviour and temperament has definitely directly reflected positively with the work she has done with him and us, so would highly recommend :)

We have used Alexandra’s fur babies for the care of our animals for many years now, the care and attention she shows our animals gives us the reassurance we need to know they are receiving the very best care when we are not home. We have been using Alex now for some time she first came to us when we had two elderly labradors. Since then both dogs did pass away and she now walks our two new dogs. She forms a bond with your pets that is 2nd to none the animals absolutely love her and she is very caring for them and also makes sure they’re in check and behaving. Would highly recommend to anybody. If you give her permission she will also send you videos while they are out on their walks so you know your animals are in good hands.

Alx is the only person I will trust with my dogs . The most important thing to her is the animals in her care are loved and looked after which is why I would recommend her to anyone . Always polite and on time when she comes to look after my animals.

In a word “Pawfect”I would highly recommend the services of Alex at Fur Babies, as it’s the first time in 25 years of being a mummy to my numerous dogs that I’ve ever trusted someone enough (other than my parents) to leave them & know that they would be totally safe, cared for & loved.Alex came for a meet & greet session to familiarise herself with our home & my two dogs - who took to her immediately. Alex went through their daily routines, feeding, exercise, medication, play & rest patterns, phrases/commands they best respond to & any peculiarities particular to them (ie quiet time, favourite toy, preferred piece of furniture!)Whilst away I was regularly updated with texts & photos of what they’d been up to & amused by a delightful video clip of my little boy playing with the hosepipe (being a water baby was not something I’d warned Alex about!)Upon return I was greeted by two very happy relaxed dogs & a house much cleaner & tidier than when I left. Alex contacted me later that evening to make sure that all was well & that we were happy.Finally - the invoice.I already knew the rough costing of the care being provided by Alex & she fully appreciated, that for me, my dogs come first & that as they’re used to me being with them almost constantly I didn’t want them to feel that they’d been left/abandoned.The rates at “Fur Babies” are extremely reasonable & very competitive but (& this is my only but) for the quality of care, the genuine interest in the well being of my dogs, the friendly yet professional approach, the respect to my home & for the peace of mind she has provided I would strongly recommend a rate increase - I award you a 5 star rating & have already started recommending your services.Thank you.

Cannot recommend Alexandra highly enough, she is so knowledgeable, caring and her training techniques are excellent. We have been so impressed with everything she has recommended and guided us through with our rescue dog, we now have a very different dog who now walks well on a lead, isn’t afraid of traffic and comes back when prompted amongst other things and this has been achieved in a relatively short time. I cannot express how grateful we were of Alex's fantastic service in taking care of our Cosmo. He has had a lovely time, been very spoilt and well cared for. The best thing is that he stayed at home and not the kennels. Thankyou again.
