Not really a spa , charge for hire of towels and robes , never ever experienced that at any other spa I have visited. The temperature in the spa was below comfotable and the treatment beds were not warmed , also never experienced that before either. The only place to get warm was in the jacuzzi. In the showers there was only one dispenser on the wall ,usually find shampoo and body wash . Was extremely disappointed with the whole experience.

Facilities are really clean and well maintained, parking it ample however if it is full you can park in the Morrisons just round the corner. Gym has enough equipment however it can get really busy during peak times as this is the only premier gym/fitness club in Carlisle. Pool is a little on the small size which lets it down. If membership wasnt so expensive I'd probably come here.

Nice relaxed atmosphere. Clean, friendly staff. Small but well presented. Quiet room with water beds to relax on. Small gym area. Small pool with sauna's steam rooms and Jacuzzis. Big clean changing area. 4 stars as 5 would be saved for somewhere like seaham hall.

Had a wonderful facial yesterday with the lovely Kimberly .. came out feeling amazing, with glowing skin. Would totally recommend Kimberly as a professional, knowledgeable therapist

Came here for a spa day last month; found the experience quite uncomfortable and not like any other spa day I've had. The reception and pool area is very much like a sports centre and not like a spa at all which put me off before we started. I felt very unrelaxed and tense while we were around the pool and in the changing room. The spa treatments themelves (massage and facial) were lovely and the therapist was a very nice and friendly girl but I would not return.

Very unprofessional. They rang me to rearrange my appointment 15 MINUTES before it because the therapist had “popped out”.(I was in the car, nearly there). Offered me compensation over the phone and re-arranged my appointment but when I went in for the treatment no manager was to be seen, just the girl who did my treatment who didn’t have a clue what had happened. Treatment was okay.

We visited Carlisle Bannatyne Health Club visited for a Spa Day" booked through Red Letter Days on 31.8.2022.It was my first Spa day experience and a gift from family for our wedding anniversary. Regrettably the experience was very disappointing.We spent the first hour attempting to relax in the jacuzzi whilst in the company of an entire aqua water aerobics class complete with boom box.We attempted to retreat to the Steam Room. One was clearly out of order so I went into the other which had its lights on. But there was no steam....We reported this to reception several times throughout the day
