Menarys

Very nice shop the only thing wrong with it was there was no men's clothing.

It would seem that Menarys are downsizing as the upstairs in Newtownards and Bangor are closed.With the closing down of the in-house boutiques like Wallis etc. Menarys is now a shadow of it's former self but I hope it survives as stores like this are few and far between. The range of kitchen ware is good and the sales are always an attraction.

Went here 2 weeks ago shopping, ladies at cash desk loverly. Went to have a coffee and treat, while in the queue I needed the bathroom. When I got to the top of the queue I was stopped and told I couldn't use it, I explained I was in the queue, would go back there once I used it, but still they refused, then I explained about my disabilities was still refused. Manager told me to complain to the cafe's HO and menarys. When I left I was upset, I asked for the manager in menarys, the assistant manager came and helped me get a bathroom. She was very kind. When I came out I spoke to the lady in phase eight who got the AM for me, she realised I wasn't well, she got me a seat, water and then helped me when I took ill. I'm very grateful to both off them and their kindness and I would be back in menarys again soon.

Looking for a waterproof coat, asked a sales assistant if a particular coat was waterproof. She didn't think so, I asked if they had any waterproof, she said probably only Regatta. I headed to look thinking she was coming with me to help me but she walked off in a different direction then had a chat with two other assistants. Not good customer service and not usual for Menarys. Usually 5 stars

Was in today 445 and lifted what I needed. My receipt says 450 on I did apologise to the lovely girl for being late and she was OK about, however the guy at the door unlocking the door to let me out I said Thank you so much and he rudely didn't reply. Disappointed and not be rushing back

Good sale on. Staff very attentive in the bedware section. I couldn't find Staff at the Benefit makeup section so had to leave. Sorry. That was Sunday 28th Nov 21

I like Menarys.You can always get a good bargain, and all they do is very good quality.My wife and i have been shopping with Menarys a few times, and you can buy from a good pair of shoes to kitchen appliances.Good restaurant and toilets available.And a good professional service, with a smile.I would recommend, and no doubt I will be returning again.

Great reductions on shoes. I got a bargain. . Missing the top floor with the cafe though. You need to bring that back.

There's plenty of choice of women's clothing, footwear and accessories, and there always seem to be lots of sale items with some good bargains (well, if you're a Size 6 - 18 anyway, which I sadly am not!). My only gripe really is that it's all a bit crowded inside, which makes it impossible to reach some areas of the store on a mobility scooter. I haven't even dared venture up in the lift yet because last time it would have been too tight to try and manoeuvre into it with all the rails nearby and I was afraid of sending everything flying or taking it with me. Also the main entrance doors on Main Street are manual and heavy with no disabled access button, so you have to struggle to try and open them yourself or rely on the kindness of strangers. Could do with some modernisation to make it more accessible but otherwise if you're fit, healthy and raring to shop, it's definitely worth a jook.
