Worst experience I have every had at a pub. Went one night and the entire pub was hugely hostile, the usual drinkers laughed and pointed, Before swearing at us. The owner of the pub checked us for ID, but then asked us what we were doing there. Such unwelcome pubs are the reason young people like myself keep well away. Go to the mulberry or the queens head in Farnham. Lovely friendly atmosphere there. Keep well away from the Alma

We were house hunting in the area and decided to stop here for a spot of lunch as it's looked like a lovely little place but........ despite the sign outside advertising food, but after ordering drinks when we asked about the menu we were told sorry we are not serving food today"

Went in with a buddy of mine and the moment we went in it seemed like a locals pub and I immediately felt unwanted. Regardless got 2 pints ( a foster and a stella) and it cost £5 a pint, we quickly went to the garden finished our pints and left to go somewhere cheaper. Such a shame considering that if it felt more welcoming and it was cheaper I would go their far more frequently since it is only a minute or so walk from away my house. What a shame!
