Beeston Recycling Centre

Unhelpful staff, seem to deliberately make your experience difficult. Staff are abrasive and rude every time I have been here. They just stand under their little shelter and shout at you if they aren’t happy where you’ve put something even though they’ve just watched you walk all the way over to that skip with it.

Went to Beeston tip today with a sizeable load of old decking. A very pleasant young man helped us unload the car. (Didn't get his name but he had just returned to work after being off for some time with a broken collarbone). Many thanks.

Just been today and were so helpful at assisting with the removal of 2 kitchen units. They were a credit to the job. Thankyou.

I have been to this tip several times and it seems like they're deliberately obstructive. Pretty much had issues every time. We've had to go through rubbish bags sorting out household waste even though its general waste, double bagged fibre glass even though it's already bagged, can't put things in the the non recyclable sections because its full although it didn't look full to me, can't come more than a few times when it's obvious we've been working on a project. They seem to delight in making life difficult and struggle to crack a smile. It's that kind of unhelpfulness which makes people desperate and you can see why people illegally tip. Going to try another tip as these guys are a disgrace.

Short wait at 830am much longer by the time I left. They are operating strict limited car numbers at any one time. Don't forget to register your vehicle before you go.

Awfully arrogant, lazy, rude staff who stand around and do nothing while people struggle to unload their cars.This is a total contrast to Ilkeston Tip who are so helpful and friendly. I dread visiting every time.

I hate Going to this site. You only have to look how many 1 star reviews they have.The staff just bark orders, and stand around doing nothing. They are rude .There was screws all over the place and instead of getting a brush and cleaning the place up to save people,s tyres they just hang around.There was a old gentleman struggling to lift something out his car they completely ignored him. and just stood watching.Maybe the boss should start watching what they are paying them for. You wouldn't get away with it In lots of other work place's. TOP TIP START HELPING PEOPLE, FEEL GOOD KNOWING YOU HAVE HELPED SOMEONE.

I’m a regular user of the recycling centre in Beeston. Generally it’s smooth sailing if pack your vehicle so you can go to each station and empty accordingly. It’s important to remember that there is only this small recycling centre serving a vast and growing community in an age where belongings are constantly being by replaced, it’s busy, and full, so we have to be considerate. The staff get a lot of unnecessary stick, most users are entitled and prioritise themselves and forget to look at the bigger picture. Restrictions are in place for a reason, staff are there to ensure these restrictions are upheld. When it’s very busy they direct people where they need to go, when it’s not they will even give a helping hand. 5 starsPs the fridge/freezer bin has been full for a few days now, go to West Bridgford

Terrible site people just stand around and sort through and the staff just want to sort through the rubbish looking for things to sell on even though you inform them there's nothing of value

Went to this site 18/08/23 with a boot load of paint. Guy i spoke to was very helpful. Not been before and found the site well laid out and tidy.
