We booked with Jo for a newborn shoot having seen some of her work online. We first met for a pregnancy shoot at our chosen location (Rivington) where we were given a taster as to what was to come. We absolutely loved the pregnancy photos which were simplistic and natural, just as we had wished. Jo was excellent at capturing amazing moments in a stressfree environment.When our little fella arrived, we took him to the studio. We feared he may cry or be stressed through the photos but immediately the calming environment, helped by Jo's amazing abilities to sooth him, made for incredible photographs which far surpassed our expectations.Jo was able to capture many different scenes and poses, using toys and props we had brought and incorporating some of our ideas to complement her own style photos. Joshua was good as gold with only a little cry after a couple of hours.We are over the moon with the photos and will treasure them forever.Thank you so much for looking after us and helping us make special memories that last a lifetime.

My 12 yr old Daughter and I had a horror shoot with Jo at the weekend.I’ve known Jo for many years and she’s always been one of the nicest, most easy going people so even after not seeing her for a long time, it was comfortable and easy.We had such fun, Jo has a real eye for a good shot and had us doing all sorts!I can’t wait for the rest of the pictures judging by the sneak peek.I’d recommend Jo to anybody looking for someone to guide them through their wedding day, pregnancy shoot, newborn shoot etc. Without doubt, you’ve found your photographer! I would trust Jo to capture every important life event. I've been to Jo for baby photos, a cake smash, an empowerment and Christmas shoot. Jo gets to know her customers, she really takes her time and you feel like you are the absolute focus of her day. She's incredible with babies and children. Usually I try my best to avoid the camera and am self conscious, I don't know how she did it but she totally put me at ease and gave me confidence. She advised me how to position myself and has the amazing skill to make me look my best. My wife had maternity photos taken whilst pregnant with our baby girl. We chose Jo as she was the only person we could find who had achieved the exact shot/pose we wanted and for this we were happy to travel for.We had always intended to get newborn photos but we're worried about the extra distance with the baby, so planned going elsewhere! But after the brilliant experience at the maternity shoot we had no doubts that she was the person we wanted to go for.Jo made us feel so welcome she is such genuine person, the raport built naturally and effortlessly. She was so good with our baby, we were so comfortable to trust her as she was patient and gentle the whole time. Time that flew by, as my wife and I got to relax with a cuppa.Jo struggles to quite contain the passion and excitement she has for her job and it's contagious!Have no doubts, your baby will be in safe hands and the results will not disappoint.I myself am a stoic person and I shed a tear in the middle of Tesco when we were sent over a teaser picture on the evening after the shoot.
