Soo I assume the other neighbour has got you on their side .. strange, why would someone wait till two trees ( ignoring one doing damage, that makes no sense ) and then receiving a huge bill . There's a big fir tree on second level neighbours garden with our bedroom that could potentially cause the neighbour to have a huge bill , yet a small bill of £500 would save them from huge bill , plus any insurance company , would not cover them in the future if such a thing happened...loosing the plot comes to mine .

Devastatingly bad service from a council that bleeds you for council tax yet is determined not to answer the phone. Other nonsense like calls not being taken until after 11.00am etc.

This is in no way a reflection on the hundreds of hard working council staff who do a great job in very difficult circumstances for which I thank you. This is levelled at the higher levels of management and councillors. There is no accountability for the council itself or individual councillors and all my complaints, which I believe to be legitimate have been totally rebutted. Standards and morals seem to be non-existent and it is a sad reflection on people who are not only supposed to be role models but who are meant to act in our best interests. Unfortunately there is no other option but to employ WC otherwise I would go elsewhere. The only thing I can do is leave a dreadful review (I will give one star in support of the refuse collectors, telephone operators and all the other great team members who are unfortunately tainted by people in power), sad, isn't it.

Tried to register a birth and they claim they are only doing 1 registry a day and can only do births from Wiltshire county when the nearest hospital is bath (Somerset county) and the only hospital in Wiltshire open at the time was Salisbury (several hours away with no motorway access).Apparently Wiltshire council is now useless and frankly they should get rid of the office and let the people who do work (refuse and cleaners ect) get on with it. At least the council tax keeps going up .... Yet to see why.

Horrendous! They don't have the answer to anything...what are our taxes going to! My time is precious and they have taken way too much of it

Why on earth have you changed the council tax paying system? I tryed to pay today and it just wouldn't accept my reference number. Im still waiting in a queue after 20mins to sort this out. At 25mins im giving up. Ring me if you want the money! You have my number. Stop altering things that worked perfectly well before please. Its almost as if you want to stress out and antagonize people.

So what can I say...I guess the 2 members of staff at the front desk are nice and friendly and it's not their fault that the council are so terrible and they are just there doing a job.Apart from that they stink, they don't do a great job. I was sleeping on the streets for nearly 3 years and twice had all my belongings, tent, stove, sleeping bag, coat clothes, taken by the council without notice and destroyed. Once, in November, they took my sleeping bag, tent, stove, food, clothes and coats. They denied it by were seen on CCTV doing it and they went into my coat pocket and saw a paper document that was important to me with my name on and took that to the police station for me to pick up. Not my coat, just the contents of the pocket. Not my sleeping bag or any of the warming clothes or even a blanket. It was November. I didn't get hyperthermia obviously though, although homeless people in the UK are still dying of the cold in 2020's. The council rough sleeping team came to me a few times over the years, woke me up at 4 or 5 am to ask if I needed any help and when I asked for a coffee or a packet of crisps, gloves or a blanket they said they couldn't help me with anything. Why they bother to ask I don't know.... the council numerous times suggested a place that I could stay, it had an electric socket so was a good spot" to recommend

These scumbags have hassled us through debt agencies repeatedly for a debt that's already being paid off. Although apparently not quick enough for them as, although it's being paid by my partner they still feel the need to hire the scummiest debt collection agency in England (Rundells) to collect from me as well despite the debt not being actually tied to me.Told Rundells it was being paid to be met with I don't care

I paid for a parking time limit reminder and did not receive this from Wiltshire council, I challenged the PCN for this and was still dismissed because Wiltshire council will take your money and then still charge you more even when it is third responsibility when you PAID for parking reminds to receive them but they like to not send the remind and still charge you for it!! Ridiculous!
