We had a complete stoppage with our combi boiler, so no heating or hot water. Not a great situation in January! Mech-A-Tech were out very quickly - it turned out to be a fault they couldn't pin down, and it looked for a while like we would have to get the manufacturer's agent out. However, they lent us heaters and didn't give up. Eventually James (the engineer) came out on his day off just to try something. It worked! What a great bunch of guys, highly recommended!

Mech Tech is fairly hard to get a hold of, but that's mainly because they appear to be extra busy.After a few communication misshaps, their engineering (James) came to our rented property to perform a gas safety check and a boiler check, he was efficient, polite and went out of his way to help us with an unrelated leak.Overall, even after the struggling part of arranging this appointment, I remain very impressed with the level of expertise and customer service of this company

James and David fitted a new boiler and high pressure hot water system with smart controls for us. There were all sorts of problems encountered with our idiosyncratic knotty mess of lead, copper and plastic piping which took a while to resolve but I now feel we have a much more robust system with excellent support from Mech A Tech. I can't echo previous reviews strongly enough. They are genuine, honest and thoroughly decent people. Thank you Walter and team.

Needed my old boiler replaced, which meant going from a combi to a condenser. An old flat with hardwood floors, and the boiler no where near to the drainage - it presented some challenges. David and James did a great job. Very professional and used a bit of innovation to deliver a non-intrusive solution with minimal disruption. This is the second time I have used Mech-A-Tech to install a heating system, and I have used them for all my servicing and maintenance for 18 years. Highly recommend.

Friendly professional service. The engineer arrived at the time we had arranged. Done the boiler service and took time to fix a problem with a radiator I didn't know was needing fixed. Would recommend Mec-A Tech to anyone looking for a first class service.

Fantastic local company. Have bought my most recent and previous boiler from them. Always receive a great service. Called up with a problem with my water tank on a Saturday morning and David came and and sorted the same day. Cannot recommend highly enough.
