Meant to post this before lockdown but no time, well no excuse now. Found Caroline extremely professional when we went to view a property and she impressed us both, we went on to hire her for our sale. Her experience stands out, something you don’t see enough in this profession. There is no problem she can’t help with and we sold within four weeks. I would suggest that anyone looking to buy through Residence look carefully at the schedule and internet listing.Our experience has been the most stressful of our lives. We are thousands out of pocket. We seen a home and viewed it on a half hour timescale, rushed as we were followed about by an agent we could only look externally ans go by the listing. It said modern kitchen and it looked modern. Turns it it was refaced and internal cupboards are in excess of 20 years plus. Patterned . Peeling and disgusting. Its my belief they are not allowed to use words modern they could have left that to interpretation. The shed and fireplace was also missing on moving in, at 550k we asked for a second viewing as buying a house for anyone is the biggest spend you will ever make. They said sign missives and you will get a second viewing. Reluctantly we did and then asked for the second viewing to measure we were told no ! Forcing us to sign missives is not best practice and they will put their commission before your best interests.We have reported to trading standards and relevant parties to investigate how they deal with people. We sold through them and no agent was able to show our home so I had to endure 40 viewings on my own.No discount offered.I would say to anyone ask for more time on viewings and be cautious. Do not use a solicitor they recommend that is another mistake make sure you use one whom has no contacts with them.I don’t trust this company and owner is aggressive and disrespectful when ask probing questions.
