Today I visited this lovely charity shop. Clothes are in good condition (clean at least). I think the environment of this shop are better than other charities shops I have been to. I was surprised by the price at the beginning. After I have tried two dresses, I asked the store manager:The dress fits me very well. I like it so much. However

Worth visiting despite consistently overpriced by about 30-40%. The best time to shop there is during one of the 50% sales, which bring it to the kind of value appropriate for a charity shop, no matter how exalted the fashion brands stocked.

Went to the shop yesterday, was queueing outside with 3 other people not having realised that it shut at 5pm (no sign on the door) and when 5pm struck, the sales woman just came to the door (that was locked from the inside) turned the sign to 'closed' and walked to the till without so much as looking at us or saying she was sorry she had to close. She could easily have told us as closing time was approaching not to waste our time waiting, but she didn't bother and upon closing couldn't even acknowledge us, even though we were clearly queuing to enter. If that's how the RC trains its staff I'm not sure it should run shops. I won't be returning which is a shame since I've spent quite a lot of money in the shop of the years as well as donated a lot of nice things to it. You live and learn.

I saw a review that said ‘they forget they are not harrods’ and I completely agree. I found a lovely sweater but as I was trying on a pair of Gucci shoes I was thinking about buying (questioning the authenticity) a sales assistant was hovering so closely over me and giving me suspicious looks. As was looking at some other items she was very rude in how she insisted I keep them behind the till while I look around and would not let me hold them. All three of the staff were sizing me up as I was at the till as if I was about to grab and run, being that it is in Chelsea I understand there must be a lot of theft however you can be vigilant without being rude. This is not Hermès. There is no need to make a customer feel so uncomfortable, Maybe turn away the super high end items if you’re so worried about theft and safety!

Greedy company who when a local business went bust, thought it appropriate to slap a ‘New collection of clothing just arrived at The Red Cross, just around the corner’ sign on their boarded up door. Cashing in on a local companies’ loss and totally against helping those in need to which is supposed to be their ethos.

Perusing at a charity shop requires a great deal of dedication, but with patience you can find amazing items. I purchased a brand new Cambridge satchel briefcase for £40! The staff were very friendly and helpful. Definitely one of my most positive experiences at a charity shop in London.

Marie Antoinette Dress UpLarge 'charity' shop in a very affluent part of London. Great selection of clothing but very, very expensive! Most dresses are starting at £135 upwards and some were priced at £400! It's more a dress agency than a charity store.

I found this place while walking back from Chelsea Old Church to the station. I thought that in a place like Chelsea there'd be sure to be name brands, and sure 'nuff. It was pretty fun to see Blahniks and Louboutins right there on the bargain shelf. Mostly pretty dinged up though. I didn't see anything I wanted.

I used to spend a lot of time in charity shops. Funnily enough I was walking around King's Road browsing in various shops. The door was open and there was a very friendly Lady managing the shop. So I stepped inside and we had a brief chat. Just then my mobile phone started ringing. So I stepped outside the shop to take the call. After answering the phone and then hanging up. I went back into the shop for another browse. The shop was nice and bright and clean with plenty of good bargains on its shelves and racks.
