Small place for a quick stop and bite.

Signs say 24hours but it isn't - Greggs, Starbucks and Subway all close early, from 10pm you can't go into the petrol station and have to just pay at the night window (which takes ages to get served at) and best of all the toilets shut at 9.45pm!!

Absolutely the worst toilets I have ever used in my life.Cold tap was running when I first walked in tried to stop it but broken. Then noticed the toilet seat was on wonky. The bins either side of toilet were overflowing and all I could see were used sanitary towels hanging out of them!!! Then after I had relieved myself found no toilet roll anywhere. Told my other half when I got out and the woman behind the till overheard me and said they are having a refurb soon (as if this explained the hygiene state of the place). I pointed out the lack of toilet roll and she shrugged and said she would go and put some in. The point is that the bins hadn't been emptied all day and no one had checked the toilet roll situation either. No pride whatsoever and a huge embarrassment on the company. Avoid!

A review of services in general (not just bp). Not very baby friendly. No highchairs in greggs within bp) and only one highchair in Starbucks which was already in use. BabyChange facilities in Starbucks ok. Toilets in BP were revolting. If travelling with an infant i wouldn’t recommend stopping here.

Went in this morning to buy a drink. Was waiting at the till for a while then a staff member came out from the back. He just stared at me, walked away, and didn’t come back. Surely serving a customer is more important then going off and facing up the stock? I didn’t end up buying anything as no one came to serve me

So I have used the Barton Stacey Esso Garage before and found the staff to be very disinterested and not very customer oriented.Luckily, I now stop at this Service stop, the Weyhill Services which has BP Garage and which also has a SPAR.This store is hugh and also has a Greggs inside.There is a massive selection of products that you can buy and being a SPAR, it is very reasonably priced for snacks and all it’s other products, which makes nice change as Service Station stops are normally expensive.However the main reason I now use this Store is the staff are very pleasant.In particular there is one young lady called Lucy who is fantastic : she always has a smile on her face, always greets you, is very pleasant and professional and obviously takes her job very seriously and always ensures she gives the best customer service.It is very refreshing to see such great customer service and she deals with all customers with respect.I normally use the Store a couple of times a week and when I was there last, I asked how work was and she said it had been slow and not many customers but she was not standing around but was re-arranging the shelves and making sure the stock was al nicely lined up whilst I talked to her !She is only a young lady and people of her age tend to be playing on their mobile phones, not acknowledging customers and being surly and bored.Lucy however is the complete opposite and is great.People are so quick to complain when they get bad customer service but never acknowledge when staff are doing a great job.Hence the reason for this glowing review on Lucy and I hope Management take note and let her know what a great job she is doing.I would say that you should tell her to keep up the good work but she seems to be a person who is just doing what comes naturally and is a hard worker !

The Rock area was lovely. Car park takes coins - or you can pay with Ringo. We went to the nearby ‘The Mariners’ restaurant for a really pleasant evening meal!

BP have allowed the outside to get very dirty.These services have been open 3 yrs. We stop here often, its halfway on a long journey. We have watched the litter build-up and up. Walked the dog and noticed teh grass had been strimmed, without picking up the litter.BP - you can do better than this.Please dont tell us this is a franchise, its your name on the sign.
