the cakes were amazing and so fresh I would 100% recommend them to anyone, definitely going to be my new go-to cake shop from now. good customer service and got told all cakes are halal too.

Lovely cakes, cookies and pastries! I go there every weekend to grab something sweet. Great prices for the high quality of cakes. Nice staff as well, always helpful and cheerful!

Wow what a cake shop! Barkingside just went upmarket. The freshest cream pastry I have ever had and the cream was so light and fluffy. Would definitely recommend and will definitely be coming back for another one soon as I want to try the whole shop!

Ordered 4 cakes , was really excited to try from this place . My kids were looking forward to it . Upon tasting it I was shocked the taste was off putting. I thought maybe it’s me but my kids tried the other cakes and they left their cakes. Trust me when I tell you my kids never leave a cake . So I was very dumbfounded and shocked that these cakes had a strange taste to it and did not taste right !!! I decided to call up the branch but the woman was being very unhelpful and not providing any explanation . For me it’s not about the money but the principle . Never again !!!!!! I will stick to going to cakes and bakes who have never let me down . Something wasn’t right with this place . Be aware !

My sis in law bought a selection of these cakes. They were amazing. I can't wait to pick up some more. Great taste and great selection.

Beautiful cakes

The cake was wonderful, very nice composition ( mascarpone and raspberry fruits ), really nice !!♥️ Also, the pastry is fresh all the time, the service is excelent , i recommend with confidence, thank you D&D Cakes and pastry, Barkingside!

Visited today for a few of their pastries and their coffee(boycotting costa) and honestly I was pleased with the texture, taste and quality! Me and my family lapped them up! I got the mini tarts, mini vanilla filled pastries, the vanilla filled biscuits and normal vanilla biscuits & chocolate eclair alongside my lovely vanilla latte x AND the lovely woman at the counter confirmed they’re all halal btw xx
