I am a lazy rather flabby 68 year old guy and Stewart took on the challenge of getting my fitness levels up which I feel he has done admirably. He is very personable and intuitive and I believe adapts his training programmes to each individual client -which in my case was just right. He pushes you when he feels you need it (and can do it) but he also knows when to dial it back a bit. I highly recommend you give Stewart a go; it will be worth it.

Stewart Taylor at My Personal Gym is our perfect personal trainer. My wife and I have both trained weekly with Stewart for over 10 years and he has been the guiding force in our personal journeys to whole body health. Stewart has kept us inspired, challenged and entertained in the gym and the variety of pre-planned exercises Stewart presents makes a compact space feel like it lacks for nothing compared to a larger gym. Stewart is very sensitive to the physical obstacles of age and injury (and the occasional loss of mojo) so his bespoke service flexes along the scale between rehabilitation and challenge exactly in line with his clients' needs. Only a personal trainer can do this and Stewart Taylor does it best of all. We recommend him with great enthusiasm.

I reached out to Stewart back in May to arrange a taster session and from our initial conversation I instantly knew I’d made the right choice.As someone who hadn’t exercised frequently for a number of years, I was concerned if I would cope with the training but I was immediately put at ease with Stewart gently guiding me, allowing me to see for myself what I was capable of.From that point on it only got better, week by week I surprised myself with the progress I made and with Stewart’s “you can do it looks” spurring me on I knew I could push through.Stewart’s ability to make each session productive, progressive, fun, challenging, plus make you sweat, with you still wanting to come back just shows how talented he is at what he does.Apart from training my body, Stewart also trained my mind to understand how we think about exercise is just as impactful.If you want a personalised training experience with a knowledgeable, confident, funny, encouraging, caring and passionate PT.Look no further, Stewart is your guy!

Stewart has trained me and my teenage son. He is knowledgable, softly spoken and not at all intimidating in the way that some PTs can be. He tailors the workout according to individual needs and preferences, e.g. doing boxing with my son. He also has the coolest little dog who we're very fond of! Cannot recommend highly enough.

Before I found Your Personal Gym and Stewart in Mill Hill , I think it’s safe to say I was a stranger to exercise in general and especially strength training.I knew I had reached the point in my life where I needed to decide about which direction I wanted my health to go so I thought I’d get some help.It is without doubt one of the best decisions I’ve made. Stewart’s knowledge and attention to detail in personal training have helped me improve and just as importantly understand why I need to train In a particular way.Stewart really puts the personal aspect into Personal Training and he’s even encouraged me to make small changes to my diet that have already had a big impact.His set up is an amazing fully functioning gym but with just me and him in it. There’s no substitute for experience and he has 25 years of that. Can’t recommend highly enough.

What sets apart Stewart’s approach from some other personal trainers I’ve come across is his level of experience.He instinctively knows what the right approach for you is, even before you know it yourself.His knowledge and method have bought me the results I had hoped for but at the same time to managing keep the sessions fun and engaging.My strength has increased considerably and weight and shape have changed to were I wanted them to be.Don’t hesitate to book a trial session,you’ll be glad you did.

I really enjoyed my personal training sessions with Stewart. We focused mainly on strength training and he made me work hard, but was very encouraging. He varied the sessions, with different equipment and exercises. I definitely noticed an improvement in my muscle tone and fitness levels. I can’t recommend Stewart highly enough.
