Not really a market not alot of choice plenty of food options but within a place located amongst so many derelict shops I wont be coming back I gave it 2 stars coz the kiosk where I got a sandwich and coffee was lovely with plenty to choose from but thats the only highlight I had

Open air with many sudden surprise alleyways for escape making you wonder who is around the next corner. Wish they hadn't moved it, it now not near transport links and is next to a general supermarket and a Woolies style supermarket, both of which are open 7 days offering identical produce. Gains two stars for brill fruit & veg stalls.

Nice little market, but sadly too clean. I like a market with lots of noise and activity, since the move this has gone, but happily many of the best traders remain, Jim the barber, The tailors, the seafood stall and the jewellers are the best around. just make the place more lively

Basildon market is okay got lots of cafes and shops for what you need fruit stall, flowers and different plants, handbags and suitcases to Caribbean food to gentleman shoes to latest fashion off your taste

The market traders are lovely, the market owners are not. This market will be killed off by basildon Council and the market management within 5 years. Shame on them.

Not much outlets for what I wanted I had to go to Romford instead. Basildon market traders are friendly if they haven't got what you came for some of them would go out their way to say come back next week darling.
