Moffat Community Observatory

This observatory is run by enthusiast volunteers who spare no efforts to deliver a great service. Atm they can take up to 4 people in each session, which made my experience very unique and tailored to the expectations of the group. It was memorable!! Can't wait for another night of clear sky to visit you again!

The observatory offered a great experience. Despite initially cloudy conditions, the night unfolded beautifully. Stephen and Simon's expertise and friendly demeanor added immense value to the stargazing adventure. Overall, a highly recommended spot for astronomy enthusiasts.

I wholeheartedly recommend a visit to Moffat Observatory. My partner and I had an extraordinary time during our visit, especially as we were fortunate enough to witness the breathtaking Geminid meteor shower, capturing multiple shooting stars. Our hosts, Simon and Stephen, proved to be exceptionally knowledgeable, guiding us through the wonders of planets, stars, globules, and galaxies with enthusiasm and expertise!
