The Diving Museum
Just taken our sons and foster children to this museum. The staff and volunteers were amazing. They were so good with our children and made the visit interesting for the adults and exciting for the children. Our children's ages range from 2-12 and they loved it. And the magic jellyfish trick blew their minds. Thank you for a wonderful visit. We will come again. Highly recommended 10/10⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Even if you are not into diving, this palce is absolutely worth a visit. The museum displays the history of diving, equipment, and methods of exploring the under water world.It would be great to have a bit more on the more modern aspect of diving, but nevertheless it is a highly recommended place to visit. Great for all ages!

A really interesting museum whether you have a connection to diving or not. The volunteers are very knowledgeable and share their own experiences in a really engaging way. Definitely not your usual museum visit. Also lots of content for children.

Absolutely brilliant! A rainy afternoon well spent talking to the most knowledgeable team! a small museum but brimming with interesting artifacts! Definitely go, even if you don’t know about diving. Car park right next to it and a lovely cafe as well. What a treasure trove! Ps - there are a few steps to get in, I was with a pram and two volunteers jumped up to help me carry it. They were all so lovely, they really wanted us to have a great experience.

Really interesting museum with many exhibits.The staff are very knowledgeable volunteers and are friendly and willing to explain all about each exhibit. We had Bill, an ex submariner who's knowledge is seemingly inexhaustible. We loved his anecdotes and let us try on the diving boots and helmet. Very enjoyable!

Extremely good value - best £5 I've spent this year!The museum is a treasure trove of diving through the ages. The only thing better than the physical collection is the staff's knowledge of everything in the museum and the building itself which doubled as a nuclear bunker.Any diver would thoroughly enjoy a trip here!

A small but very informative and interesting museum. Although the best of this museum are the staff. So knowledgeable and caring! My children had a great time there

The Diving Museum
What are simply amazing place we visited whilst visiting family and were amazed by how much is packed into this limited space and indeed the volunteers are its biggest asset we spent over an hour there and probably spent around half of the time discussing things with the experts that were there as volunteers. It's a true gem and worth a visit if you've never been then put it on your list.
