Fabulous experience in a beautiful setting! Alex and James were both so positive, supportive and fun throughout. I felt totally safe - even when my body turned to jelly and of course I fell in! Can't wait to come back and do it all again!

Thoroughly enjoyed my first SUP Yoga session, Alex is a brilliant instructor who guided a calming and unique practise making sure all abilities were accommodated. Great quality boards. Will definitely be booking another session, perhaps next time on the river!

Excellent experience for the two younger members of our holiday group. James and Alex were fantastic instructors who really inspired, educated and entertained their two novices on their first ever SUP adventure. For anyone thinking about booking a first ever SUP lesson we would thoroughly recommend James and Alex to be your guides!

I had the best time paddle boarding with Alex on Sunday! She was friendly and knowledgeable and we chatted non stop. I was so happy as I didn't fall in and am gagging to have another go! The yoga at the end was brilliant as well! Would highly recommend.

A great afternoon learning to paddle board. Alex and James are great teachers and made us feel completely at ease. They quickly got us standing and paddling and we even tried some SUP yoga which was really fun! We absolutely loved the experience and will definitely be back!

My daughter and I booked a beginners SUP session and were delighted we did so.Alex was our instructor and by luck it was the two of us so we had a 1:1 teaching.Right from the start including the booking etc, Alex was charming and friendly. See actively listened to our requirements etc and adapted the session to suit us both. She was very patient and excellent at teaching us to SUP. I had to retire after 1 hour due to a wonky hip but Alex was very understanding and continued to teach my daughter speed turns and after deliberately asking her to fall off, her only fall, showed her how to get back on the board successfully.An excellent teacher and a great session was enjoyed by us both and we are intending to return for more after I’ve had my new hip.You can see the passion and desire Alex has to teach others SUP and give genuine support to any pupil regardless of their ability. A fantastic teacher and great to learn from.I have no hesitation in recommending her and James at Wittering SUP to teach anyone of any ability to SUP. The facilities for changing and showering are good. The water was clear and quite still, it was not fast flowing and there was no danger whatsoever. Their choice of venue and teaching was spot on.And as a bonus there is a cafe just up the path for delicious coffee and cake after your session.Can’t wait to return and put into practice what we both learnt and progress further.

James & Alex are very qualified, but they also know how to teach and well. It’s a gift, which ensured grandad (68), Alfie (14) and Nate (11) can now all SUP after just 1 lesson. They also made it great fun. A perfect balance to aid learning. The welcome was warm and the venue was stunning for spectators and participants. Highly recommended. Great value.
