Doggy Home School

We sent our very loving but excitable Rottweiler to Sarah for a week of training to help with her over excitement around other dogs and people. Even in this short space of time we have seen a noticeable difference to our Mabel’s behaviour in a positive way.We were kept up to date with loads of videos and messages which was really important for us and Sarah was always at hand for any questions we had.Thanks to Sarah we now not only have a much calmer dog but also we have been given lots and lots of information to be able to continue the training ourselves. Day to day life is already a lot less stressful for both us and Mabel. It will be a long road to the place we want to be but we are confident that with this knowledge we will be in a much better place than before.Sarah is very professional and takes her job very seriously so we would 100% recommend her to anyone that requires help with their dog.

Very very pleased is a short way of putting it. Sarah was absolutely fantastic with our pups. We received updates throughout the day. And our pups had the best time. Sarah has so much knowledge on doggy behaviours, super impressed. We will look no further in future for day care. I couldn’t trust Sarah more. Sarah looked after our Dalmatian for a few nights. She clearly has a genuine love of dogs and a lot of behavioural expertise and we will certainly be taking her back for her next holiday!

Our Labrador Alfie had his first overnight stay with Sarah over the weekend. He settled well with her and she kept us informed on how he was getting on by sending us regular videos. She gave us some great advice on building on his training. Thanks for taking great care of him! He seemed to enjoy his stay and is looking forward to a longer stay next time.

Sarah is absolutely fantastic and couldn’t recommend her enough! Dara had a fab stay at Doggy Home School and I felt very content leaving her in such capable hands whilst I was out of the country. Sarah did everything and more to make sure Dara was happy and enriched during her stay, and kept me up to date with various free-work sessions and activities they were doing during the week. Sarah also gave me many ideas and techniques to use when I took her home to ensure Dara’s life is as enriched and fulfilled as possible. Her extensive knowledge when it comes to dog behaviour is clear and her passion and devotion towards the dogs is unmistakable. We cannot thank you enough for all of your help and support!

Sarah was fantastic from the start. Dealing with me as neurotic doggy mum who barely spends time apart from her dog, she took the time to put my mind at ease. Spending time with me to chat about Ralph, then allowing me to come over and see the facilities beforehand; this in particular was well worth it as Ralph then settled in quickly when he stayed. Being an older dog he’s recently lost a lot of his hearing and we talked about some training opportunities, as well things that Sarah was able to help advise. When he stayed, Sarah absolutely doted on him and sent me ‘pupdates’ so I knew how well he was doing. Her knowledge and experience on dogs - working canines in particular and their issues is high, which definitely made me feel more comfortable leaving my life in her hands. 5 star service from start to finish and would definitely recommend.

Sarah is such a lovely lady ! We had an emergency, hence we had to leave our pup, Joey, at a daycare for a day, nobody around Oxford bothered to respond. But Sarah made sure of calling me back, she was so understanding and she agreed to have our pup straight away. It was a huge relief as it was the need of the hour. We are so so thankful to Sarah, our pup had a lot of fun with her and he was so happy when we went to pick him up. It seemed like he didn’t want to leave Sarah. She’s the perfect person who can understand a dog, so professional. Thanks a lot Sarah, you’re the best ! Lots of love from Joey xx

Thank you Sarah. Fluke and I learnt so much with you and I now feel I have a much better understanding of my dog(s) and their needs. As a result we have a much more relaxing and enjoyable time together and on walks where I feel we are all more in control. Sarah is extremely knowledgable and also incredibly enthusiastic. We found Sarah after looking for a while as our English Springer is old and we wanted to ensure he was happy and safe. Sarah was wonderful, very professional. She immediately put my mind at rest on meeting her. When we dropped of Sunny she was so calm and kind we had no hesitation on leaving him. Sarah sent us updated messages and photos so we could see what he was up to and we were able to enjoy our time away knowing he was being well looked after. I would thoroughly recommend Sarah. She knows dogs well, she spends quality time with them and addresses what they need. She plays with them making sure their holiday is the happiest it can be and we loved seeing our dog having fun without us. We are so pleased we found Sarah. We would hesitate to use her again !
