I’ve been have lessons with Simon for 3 years and was a complete novice when I began. Nonetheless, he was incredibly patient and excels in dealing with nervous students. His knowledge of a wide range of musical styles is great when choosing new pieces to learn - there really is something for everyone. I’d highly recommend him - whether you are an adult wanting to learn a new skill or have children who want to learn an instrument, Simon can adapt his approach and get the best from you.

My daughter has been having weekly lessons from Simon from the comfort of our home! She’s really enjoying her zoom lessons and is making progress. She looks forward to her weekly lesson and finds Simon really explains things well, he also has the patience of a saint! Would definitely recommend.

My daughter just started about month ago. She enjoys the lessons and us as a parents are very happy with the way Simon is approaching her and passing the knowledge :) 100% professional. My daughter is very motivated and practising every day at home.Definitely recommend Simon! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Simon is a wonderful teacher who is very easy to deal with. Our son has really engaged with him and is learning really well under his tutelage. Very reasonable cost for his services too.

Simon is a patient, gifted music teacher, and the lessons are enjoyable and stress free. After watching my daughters online lessons during lockdown, it inspired me to pick up a guitar again after nearly 40 years and have lessons with Simon myself, only this time an electric one!!

Went to Simon about 3 years ago as a 30 odd year old complete novice. Great tutor, really patient and good at explaining everything. Lessons are really good and varied, giving me confidence and ability to play the bass guitar to tracks and write my own music. Now starting in a band whilst continuing lessons to further improve my technique. Can't recommend him highly enough

I've had two spells with Simon, his knowledge and playing are second to none. But what makes him a great teacher is he can teach you how to play with ease and makes it fun. I would highly recommend him.

Both my daughters have Mr Oxborrow and they absolutely love his lessons. My daughter has had guitar lessons for a few years now and has made excellent progress. Highly recommended!

Mr Oxborough is excellent, he is patient and knowledgeable. My sons confidence has grown so much since he started his lessons. I highly recommend Stoke-on-Trent School of Rock to anybody looking for a friendly teacher.

Simon is an excellent teacher. I’ve had just 3 ukulele lessons and I feel like I’ve made huge progress. Simon makes the lessons enjoyable too. Great value for money.
