We recently sold our property through Hern & Crabtree and the service provided was excellent. Each of the team members we dealt with were knowledgeable, professional and helpful and it made selling our house a dream. We had already found a property we wanted to buy and needed to get our property on the market quickly and the team had no issues with this and their efficient work meant we secured the house we wanted to buy! Thank you Owen, Jo, Denise, Michael and Jan, we would highly recommend the Llandaff team to anyone looking for estate agent services in the area.

We have recently sold our daughter’s flat in Fairwater using the wonderful services of Hern and Crabtree: Llandaff Office.Considering how stressful this process can be the whole team of this office made this a very smooth and stressless time.A chance meeting in Llandaff car park where I bumped into Rodri Humphrey’s, Area Manager on Graduation day lead to Jo Shears( Estate Agent ) meeting at the flat with us the next day. This was very helpful as we live on the Isle of Wight.By Monday of this weekend visit, the photographer and one of the Directors of this company, Mike Baillie came to photograph the Flat so that the sale and information could be advertised. This Sale was online and “live” by Tuesday.There was one viewing day the following week and offers were made and accepted by Tuesday 2nd August, one week after being released for sale.The team of Jo,Denise, Owen and Harry and the Sales Progression Manager, Jan Street all aided a smooth transaction. The completion took 20 weeks and 1 day from offer to contracts exchanged.Jo also recommended a removals company, Aust Removals. Again this company is run very efficiently by Paul Aust and has been for the last 28 years. The team packed and moved us over a 2 day period. The flat was empty from the 18th November 2022.We can highly recommend this company who add a personal touch in a process which can be full of obstacles.However the team were always at the end of the phone and or e.mail to ensure that the process was managed and completed very successfully.Thank you TEAM!Lin, Will and Ceri Merwood

I have just sold my house with Hern and Crabtree after being blow away by their service when purchasing the house 3 years ago. The team are amazing especially Denise, Harry and Owain . They sold my house in two day and were amazing at updating us at every stage. I would strongly suggest you buy/ sell through this estate agents. Absolute pleasure doing business with them.

Highly recommend Nigel and the team at Hern and Crabtree. I appointed Nigel to help with properties going through probate. Nothing was too much trouble, he made the whole process easy and was always available to advise on how best to deal with matters. I have nothing but praise for the professionalism and am extremely grateful for the help I received.

I had a viewing with them, didn't even bother to call me back, called them to ask nothing, not happy I wouldn't recommend. You could have different experience but mine wasn't good at all.

Hern & Crabtree were very helpful when putting our house on the market. Arranging everything (photos, measurements, energy efficiency rating etc). We were pleased with the results and sold the house very quickly. There was a hiccup along the way when someone dropped out of the chain but thanks to the estate agents a new buyer for the property involved was found. All in all we were please with the service provided.

Avoid - 81 Ty Mawr Road - Property in Disrepair.Property features Rising Damp and Penetrative Damp Throughout.Painting over is sadly not a treatment but an effort to fool prospective buyers.Downstairs and upstairs leaking roofs and Penetrative moisture damage to floorboards.An Mrics qualified surveyor was ordered to the property via Cardiff County Court.The initial investigation showed the property to be in awful condition.Herb and Crabtree and doing themselves a great dis-service buy attempting to sell this property that has been on the market for year and has been dropped by two other estate agents.This property is not a suitable investment - for renting or for living.If you would like to waste your time and money and turn your life into a nightmare this is the property for you.

We cannot recommend Hern & Crabtree enough. We just bought our first property through them and they were approachable, responsive and professional throughout.
