Did a great job of servicing my flute. I had bought it second hand and neglected it somewhat, didn't realise I was supposed to get it serviced regularly to keep it in good condition! Anyway, it was knackered to the point of being unplayable. I couldn't believe the difference when I picked it up and tested it after getting it serviced here. It was nice and shiny too :)

John serviced my flute and piccolo after nearly 15 years with no service. He took the time to explain all the work he’d done on each and the flute in particular sounded transformed-I hadn’t realised how much delaying a service could impact the tone! John communicated well both before, during and after the service, and was friendly, professional and enthusiastic. I’ll definitely be back.

I emailed on Friday evening about servicing my flute, which hadn't been looked it in about 20 years! He got back to me straight away and I took my flute in on the Saturday. He gave it a huge clean and sorted out all the issues, providing a breakdown of all the work done. I picked it up at the end of the day and it is like having a new flute! The difference it has made is amazing and it was a reasonable price for all the work undertaken. Thoroughly recommend!

Amazing service with a smile; I cannot recommend this shop enough. I took in a very poorly flute (ignored in the damp for too long) with no hope of good repair. John not only repaired it very quickly but also restored it to a good condition (both audible and visible), which was totally unexpected. The service was friendly, kind, knowledgeable and skilled. John understood how sentimental the instrument is to me and his personal touch shone through! Thank you ever so much, John!

My sons flute needed a service but I didn’t realise by how much it needed it. I took this into John he cleaned it serviced it and checked it out we got it home and the difference is phenomenal it sounds so much warmer,richer and clearer sound Highly recommended. I then took my wife’s saxophone in for a quick checkup as she hadn’t played it for some 12 years. Again fantastic service. If I could give more stars I would Many thanks

Clarinet joint corks replaced a while ago now. Have discovered why they've been so awful and then shredded and disintegrated...cheap blend of bits of Cork instead of the proper cork.
