Incredible venue.

I visited this around 1989, when it was a Leonard Cheshire home for the care of disabled adults. A local history enthusiast from the WTS was showing me round. I forget exactly why, and it wasn't entirely clear at the time either. It may have been something to do with volunteering, or maybe there was some crossover with the WTS's work.It was in pristine condition then, and it's still in excellent condition now: Very well-maintained for an old building. I passed by yesterday, and they appear to be renovating some outbuildings. Instead of the mess construction companies tend to bring along with them, all the paths and roadways were freshly brushed down, and the only sign of building work was the CSCS notices outside.

I photographed a 3 day Indian wedding here and it was a wonderful venue! The interior is absolutely beautiful with lots of unique decor. The gardens are also lovely! The staff are fantastic - friendly and super helpful! I would highly recommend it!
