Hedge End Household Waste Recycling Centre
This is a great place for recycling almost everything. The staff are very helpful and the centre is well run, very clean and tidy. I use this facility very regularly and it is so helpful to have this facility so close. It does get very busy at times and the queues can be long. With the development of so many houses in the area, the demand for this facility by new residents is going to increase. I hope that the rumours of the closure of this excellent place is only gossip and not a short sighted way of saving money.

Very well run, a guy checks you in at the gate, they have spaced the parking out with barriers to allow about 5 cars in, about half the normal number, you can easily avoid people. A pleasant visit.

Booked to get rid of a pot of paraffin. Was told they couldn't take it and was told Netley would. Drove to Netley and told no as well. Staff should be better informed so as not to waste customers time and petrol.

OK so I had to wait to get in, no problem they were sorting the bins" so no-one could. When they had finished we were lin and out quickly. The staff were very helpful in making sure I used the right bin

Now pre-booking of a particular vehicle is required, at a specific 30 minute time slot, I found the whole experience surprisingly painless. Pre-booking was easy, arrived with no queue, good social distancing and very helpful staff. Never imagined I'd ever review a municipal dump, and certainly not give one 5 stars! Well done!

I arrived this morning at 11.30am and was Gteeted by one of your colleagues who promptly showed me my space to go into. I had cardboard so it was fair easily to unload! I cannot praise your lads at this depot, they were happy, cheerfull and was able to have a little bit of laughter. (Segensworth) I say no more. Hedge End Recycling ♻️ well done, your brilliant.

Both my husband and I are disabled, we booked a slot and when we arrived we asked for assistance. We were helped and the gentleman were very helpful and polite. Very well organised with distancing all in place.

Hedge End Household Waste Recycling Centre
Useless. Called ahead to charity/recycle some books and DVDs. Sat for 30mins waiting to get in, then they took them and threw them in the general waste skip for landfill. I'd have taken to BHF or similar of they'd just been honest.
