Lovely restaurant with a great atmosphere and amazing service. I had the grilled sea bass which got tastier with every mouthful. A great place to take your loved one an evening out. Compliments to the chef and owner!

We went to this restaurant to celebrate our first anniversary but the whole experience was kind of disappointing. The starter scallop was quite nice however my grilled half lobster was clearly not fresh even though the seasoning sauce was nice, the dish was still ruined as seafood is all about freshness. I grow up in the seaside and I have had so much seafood in my life I can tell when they are not fresh. A half lobster which costs £32, I would expect it would be fresh at least.I gave the feedback to the waitress and she responded that it’s not possible as all their seafood was delivered this morning and they did nothing about it at the end.What’s worse, when my husband paid for the bill, the waitress charged him £51 extra and luckily he glanced at the receipt and call out the issue then she refunded the extra charge. This is not acceptable from my perspective even though she apologised at the end.

Of course, I returned. The mixed grill seafood was absolutely delicious. Very well seasoned, I could've eaten more, but that would be greedy. Service is great, and cocktails to end the night...YUM. My new favourite spot

There were 9 of us on a Sunday birthday brunch..had the massive M.K. platter.. was worth every penny..everything was served nice and warm..bags of taste in every bite..( lobster).. the fish soup was very good..service was excellent...if you want good seafood, its this restaurant..they also had everything in stock..keep up the good work guys...

I would highly recommend visiting Matthew's kitchen for good food. We've attended quite a few times and have never been let down.The food is excellent here and always leaves me wanting more. The staff are very friendly and attentive to the service provided.The only negative I can think of is that the Crouch End branch closed down.I've recommended Matthew's kitchen to many friends and look forward to going again.

Matthew's Kitchen Seafood & Grill
If you like your fish and you're in North London, definitely give this place a try. The staff are so friendly and welcoming. The food is absolutely amazing. I like my monkfish so have it often in different places. Matthews monkfish is not like anything I've had before. I've never seen it cooked this way before, but it was to die for so moist and tasty I would highly recommend.
