Lovely, amazing, helpful staff. Helped me feel at ease, although, at self check in, my appointment didn’t come up and was told to go to the front desk from the screen, I went to the front desk and noise was present. You feel a pain having to ask staff who work there, but are off duty, for help as their breaks are much needed, but non the less one lady was very helpful. Stop making cutbacks on reception staff, they’re needed! Thank you to the staff at radiology ❤️

I've just got out of this place, I ended up walking out. With no diagnosis still and that's after going in there at 5pm tonight I asked for a cup of water , I never got one , so now I have to sit in silence worrying what's wrong with me , I would never turn down anyone for a drink of water , I did buy a coffyand cheese on toast that was £7 down the drain , , but if you want to be treated like a human being don't go to the Royal Liverpool Hospital and some people reading this might think it's my own fault for not waiting, but how long do you wait before you get treated with dignity and respect. The same thing they ask for , plus is it now toouch to ask to be seen by a doctor so you can feel better , and be treated better , I won't happen in the Royal Liverpool Hospital for sure

Despite the hospital itself being a bit tucked away in no-mans land, it's a nice bright hospital. The layout is a bit confusing at first but once you understand the colour coding it's fine. The staff within the clinics are lovely as are the clinicians. The Emergency department could do with a rethink as does not cater for people with mobility, circulation or back issues.

Had a visit to the new Royal Liverpool University Hospital for an appointment. The new hospital was light, airey and clean. Very easy to navigate your away around with plenty of signage. All the usual amenities on site including a Starbucks and WHSmith.Doesn't feel like a traditional hospital. It feels more relaxed.

This review is purely about the building and its access and is not a review of the staff or the services provided. Public access ways to the new hospital are really poor. Accessing the drop-off point is awful. The recommended car park, if you follow the signage, is a 5 minute, 1 mile drive away. If you walk to the main entrance from Prescot St. as a pedestrian, you can not walk down the ramp as it is only for cars going to the drop-off point. You have to negotiate an outdoor flight of stairs or use an outdoor lift (there is only one, so hopefully it's always working). The hospital is crammed into a very tight space. Crazy design and too small for purpose. Clinic waiting areas are also too small. Very disappointing.

I had to visit the A&E department last night what a nightmare, it was at least a 4 hour wait, the waiting room was full of rubbish all over the floor and it was full of drunk, abusive people with no security in sight. The nurses that were calling people's names were very quiet and lots of people must have missed their turn. We left in the end without being seen because it was getting very uncomfortable. They need a better system because elderly people must be very frightened by sitting in the waiting room and also not hearing their name being called.

What a lovely experience, my bladder cance was sorted out within 2weeks. Thanks to Mr Bird surgeon and his staff, also nurses on ward 11, Bev, Michelle, H, Jay and the rest. All fantastic. Can't praise the NHS so much. Love to all.
