I went to my first appointment by myself during covid times, as you had to go in on your own and I had just turned 18. I have always been very apprehensive about going to the doctors, and was even more so because it was my first time on my own. I had firstly been seen by an on call doctor/locum, at bradwell hospital (who was brilliant by the way) as they couldn’t fit me in with my gp. He immediately sent me for bloods, scans and x-rays, so I felt happy that something was being done! However, I had an appointment with my gp a couple of weeks later. Who was extremely patronising, rude, made me feel stupid for coming in, told me there was nothing wrong with me, told me my scan had been denied and said nothing will show up on my x-ray because there is “nothing wrong” with me. A week later something did in fact come back on my x-ray and have since been sent for further tests and I have spoken with specialists and surgeons. Can’t help but think how many people may have not found out about any health issues, because certain doctors at this surgery have not believed patients crying out for help when in pain and with clear physical abnormalities. Not to mention how it can permanently put you off from going to the doctors.

Collected my prescription, when I arrived at home opened it to find only half the tablets were there, called to explain and asked to call back Monday today just spent 45 plus minutes trying to get through then when I did waited for 24 minutes only to be cut off.I would recomend staff training on how to answer a telephone its not that difficult shocking surgery staffed by people that just don't care. Look at their reviews one of the worst surgery's in stafgordshire. I will be making a formal complaint th NHS England.

I hope you are all managing ok under the immense current pressures. Can I just say that generally, the care I receive from the Tardis Surgery is second to none. Maria, Nicola and Zoe are just fabulous. Always helpful, professional, polite and friendly (despite I am sure coming under fire from patients on a regular basis). I am triaged appropriately and given the correct appointment for my needs. Whether that be a GP telephone or face to face appointment, an appointment with the nurse, or indeed, when no appointment available, I have been given an appointment with the extended hours service.I know you are still under an inordinate amount of pressure on your time and services, but just wanted to pass on my heartfelt thanks for all that you guys do. It's not an easy job to be doing at the moment, I'm sure.

Sadly I have to say the surgery has gone backwards in a lot of ways used to have 5 star rating not anymore, time and time I have rung you cant get through there is one receptionist that needs training in people skills, can be quite abrupt, but notices are placed zero tolerance to staff,I have to say this should apply to patients to that are needing help and care.

This surgery has steadily declined in the quality of service in the last 5 years. It has reached the point that the receptionists are now there to stop you from seeing the doctor or the nurse. They have restricted the number of appointments and only allocate on a first come first serve basis if you phone in and listen to the long winded and pointless messages being read out by a doctor who no longer works there. There appears to be no prioritising of ongoing or urgent treatment, even if you arrive at the surgery in agony! You are informed to just phone in. I stood in the reception whilst ringing the surgery only to be told all that appointments were gone in the time in took to get through approx. 10 minutes. When are they going to learn that they are there to administer care to their patients. Is it any wonder that A&E Services are overloaded with non urgent patients who cant see their own GP.

I have to give a huge shout out to MARIA, she is an excellent example of what a medical receptionist should be. . .i was having an issue with a perscriptions availabilty and she went above and beyond to get this sorted, all receptionist s should be trained to her standard. . Excellent !

Nothing but great things to say about the Tardis. Particularly since the new direction over the past couple of years since Dr Kaur has taken the reigns. Have been treated with real care, patience and grace.Thank you!

Appalling my wife is now sat at home in tears as all she wanted was a letter to help her claim a benefit for her disability and it seems to be to much trouble to even be able to speak to a doctor. This surgery has gone down hill very rapidly service is rubbish.

I know that people are ill, but please stop moaning at the staff. We are lucky we don't have to pay for the service privately.I know we pay through taxes. But it's under-resourced, especially Doctor's, mental healt, and social care.I have conditions which I need to see the doctor regularly. So I have tried to get through on mobile 80 times. But I try to appreciate people who work in the health sector.
