Penny Black Cottage Ironbridge

This holiday cottage is one of our favourites and its becoming a Christmas tradition for us to stay here every year. There's a veggie/vegan cafe up the road and some amazing pubs in the area. You're a short drive from all the supermarkets and shops in Telford so that you can cook up a feast in the fantastic, trendy and well equipped kitchen diner. There's nothing cosier than sitting beside the log burner with a glass of wine watching a movie or playing board games with your loved ones in the intimate sitting room at the back of the cottage. Gorgeous property in gorgeous surroundings and a stone's throw from the Ironbridge. Can't fault it.

I'm so glad we found this absolutely lovely cottage that has been well decorated and styled. It was an excellent two night stay. We were very grateful for a well equipped kitchen that also included children's plates and cups.The location was great, with it being very close to some of the local museums and also an easy walk down to Ironbridge itself.

Our second stay, but, hopefully, not our last at this lovely cottage.Thoughtfully and tastefully renovated and decorated, Penny Black Cottage is warm, inviting and comfortable. It is always immaculate on our arrival and we're always treated as old friends!Thoroughly recommended.
