Thoroughly recommend S and J van hire at South Ockendon. Professional and friendly service end to end. Great communication throughout. Vehicle was excellent, brand new 7.5t vehicle, auto with radar cruise control (which was very handy for the 3.5 hour drive I had to do up to Worcester helping a family member move house!). Dean did a great job of talking me through all the vehicle functions and making sure I was comfortable with the vehicle.Fantastic value for money.Thanks to all the team at S and J van hire South Ockendon.

Rented a very large lorry from this company in Thurrock, Essex to move home to Blackpool in February. Staff were super friendly and very helpful. The man who helped us showed us the back of the lorry, how much room we had and it was absolutely worth the money we paid to hire it from the Friday to the Monday. Had a friend drive it whilst I followed in the car. Really trustworthy company who I'd highly recommend to everyone. Thank you to you all! Couldn't have moved home without you!

Excellent customer service from Scott and the team at S&J Self Drive Hire. The van which was new and very clean was easy to book - Great we could pick it up and return it (8pm) on Sunday. Good price for the hire and will certainly return when we next need a vehicle.

Excellent customer service and best prices in town!Easy to book and great to use, there's a good variety of types of vehicles to choose from. Several times I used a 3.5 tone van with a taillift which was great for moving home. Next time I'll get a 7.5 toneStrongly recommend!!

I was so pleased and impressed with the service I received at S&J Ockendon.Not having hired a van before it was so straightforward, I was moving house and this was stressful enough but hiring a van from S&J stress free, communication was clear and they were easy to find. They could have not been more accommodating. I spoke with a lady on the phone that reserved the small van the day before and dealt with a young man at reception who explained everything with ease and told me when I could return the van the following day.All very professional. I will be using again and highly recommend.
