Enterprise Car & Van Hire - West Boldon

We use Enterprise alot. Never had an issue, always polite, friendly and get you in and out quickly. Last van hire, we had a no fault accident. Manager Lauren took us through the procedure, pretty much dealt with the lot for us and was really good with us. Hire charges exactly as quoted, with blue light discount available too.

Great service. No hard sell with extra insurance.

AVOID THIS COMPANY. HOW ON EARTH ARE THEY STILL IN BUSINESS.The Van had a slight scratch and bump after scraping a barrier (which had no damage). Before driving the vehicle they clearly stated any slight scratches or bumps are fine and would call me if there was any issues. I’ve had absolutely no call, assuming all is ok, as you do… just waiting for my deposit back. They’ve then took complete advantage and charged £1518.25 to fix, including 6 days loss of use - an invoice had been sent via an email. Absolutely baffling. When I dropped the vehicle off I was told it wasn’t anything to worry about but kept the £200 holding deposit. They’ve also charged for a part that never got damaged, so I’m unsure whether it’s an error. They lack basic professionalism and communication skills.I drive past this enterprise everyday on the way to work, and the van I used, had clearly been still in use. I have tried to call the office with no luck. I am more than happy to pay for damages but, I refuse to pay for anything exaggerated or falsely claimed. No evidence has been provided on your behalf, also.To add further insult, enterprise were late having the van ready and messed me around, having me driving between two separate branches. The bump happened trying to get the van back on time, before they closed which could been avoided as I’d usually take the long route where there is no acute turns.I will never, go near enterprise, again, unless this matter is resolved / discussed.I don’t like writing negative reviews, but I can’t imagine how many people have been in the same situation as myself. Really disappointing.

Have got like for like cars. I needed a 7 seater car. They have given me one. Something out of the stone age. No reversing camera. No satnav . Very uncomfortable seats. No tinted windows. My kids don't like it. My baby cries because of the sun in his eyes. I had to use my wife's car today because my school kids say its uncomfortable and the sun is in their eyes.

On this occasion we wanted to road test an all battery vehicle. The one supplied was Peugeot and was a very pleasant experience. Only downfall not for me personally as battery died to quick. But Enterprise as a Hire Co very pleased with them Regards Keith.

All the staff were very friendly and helpful when I hired for work.4 stars given due to be given a van without air conditioning. I did not expect in 2022 that a company as big as enterprise would give vehicles to customers without air conditioning.A heads up dress light if you drive this van it gets rather hot!

All the staff from booking to return and the lift home was excellent. Will always use Enterprise especially West Boldon Branch
