We received a great/thorough survey from Guy @ ASL for a house we were hoping to buy. Based on numerous issues raised in the report we tried to negotiate the price but sadly the sellers wouldn't reconsider. I can’t fault the service we received and have had a really positive experience with the company. The guys carried out an extensive search on our property and provided a thorough report. On moving in we noticed a couple of issues that we wanted some more information on and contacted them to advise. Mal and Danny came straight out to do another check and were extremely friendly and helpful and gave us some useful tips on how to solve the issues. The service has been very professional and they are clearly a very reputable company to make a second visit and reassure us.

I used ASL for my recent home purchase. Complete transparency and efficient communication was achieved throughout. I received my full report in a timely fashion and couldn’t recommend the company more to anyone looking to use their services.

We paid £1080 for a level 3 survey. The report was lacking in detail, with a lot of general information about older buildings I could have got on line and general advice about getting contractors to provide more information, (who knew?). There was no advice on estimated costs.We then paid significantly less to a different surveyor for a further structural survey and were provided with a lot more detailed information with estimated costs. This information allowed us to reduce our offer by several thousand pounds, no thanks to ASL.

I used ASL Chartered Surveyors for a full home survey for a first time buyer, in my family. I found them to be professional, efficient and thorough, everything you need for such an important purchase. Would happily recommend their services to anyone.
