TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE. There are 2 older ladies that operate the shop on some days. They rule with an iron fist and they are a law unto themselves. What is the point of clearly outlining at the store front, the rules by which the shop is operated if these rules are habitually disregarded without a care in the world by the same staff. On the weekend, If the store states that the final wash is 3:30pm, they take the liberty to turn people away and lock the store at this time rather than the actual time the store is meant to be closed (5pm). They take the liberty to make up the times as they like. The customer service experience is absolutely appalling. I always feel like I'm walking on egg shells whilst using the facilities as the 2 older ladies are always really moody and grumpy. Feel free to look else where for a quality experience, I would not waste my money on such horrible service.

I usually have no problems with them.Today I showed up at 3:45pm when the google timetable says they are open until 6pm and the one on the windows of the shop reads 5pm and they haven't let me in.We are shut"Then asked me if it was a washing and I replied I only needed to dry and they sent me away saying the latest is at 3pm.I don't know what is going on with them."

Brilliant staff and quite clean inside, however, I've just washed my two blankets and is rather disappointed as the machine does not smell good. Despite using lenor unstoppables along with comfort sunshine days conditioner along with my lightly scented laundry detergent, my blankets smells worst than they went in. I have pointed it out to the staff, hopefully the management will have the machines deep cleaned at some point.

Always had great service here, and the staff have always been really helpful. I usually bring in duvets and pillows, and there is great communication about drying options (ie realistic about how much drying is required to get them dry, but also giving me the option to get them mostly dry then take home to air).

This is my first time using this launderette and it will be my last time. So basically I took 2 black bin bags full of clothes for service wash on the 15/07/2023 around 4:15pm and 1 lady who was working on that day told me it will cost me £28 because it’s large wash. They still need to update the price list on the counter which I pointed out to the lady and she just said the price has increased anyways I didn’t mind. I just wanted the job done. She told me the clothes will be ready to collect around 11:00 in the morning on 16/07/2023 so I left. The laundrette looked clean and organised.So I came inside the shop around 03:30 on 16/07/23 to collect my clothes but there was no staff inside and I waited 5 mins then I went outside. One lady was sitting down having a cigarette and I asked her if she works there and she replied yes so she came inside. I gave her my receipt and she said oh your clothes are not ready yet and I can see it in the basket with a few socks on the floor behind the counter. I could smell very strong alcohol when she was talking to me (was mumbling half the time and was talking to herself) she couldn’t even stand properly very drunk.I said I’m running late for my work can you just put all the clothes inside a bag I need to leave I don’t have time it should’ve been ready long time ago. She then told me to come behind the counter and pack my clothes in the bag myself because apparently she was too busy doing her own things. Meanwhile when I was packing the clothes there was cash money laying around that anyone could’ve took even me if I wanted to . There’s CCTV camera behind the counter and hopefully the manager takes immediate action. This was a shocking and terrible first time experience and hopefully I have all of my clothes in the bags and nothing is missing. Never again!

Advertise that they are open until 1930. However they shut at 5 as the staff are sadly put on zero hours. I walked two miles. Wouldn't take my wash. I'll be walking two miles to find another laundry. Very poor

I tried to use this laundrette but they had closed two hours earlier than advertised.

Staff were very friendly and helpful. £5 a small wash, £1 for ten mins on tumble dryer. Machine only takes £1 and 20ps but they can change any cash you have

I was a bit worried about some of the existing reviews. I called up to get the price first and was quoted £22 for a double duvet service (or £16 to do it myself). We decided to also get a couple of pillows done, and the final piece was £30. I wasn’t there to understand the pricing, but I picked it up and they were really helpful with packing it all up with the extra bag I’d brought so that it was easier to carry home, meaning it wasn’t a struggle to even walk back rather than get the bus.
