Seven Swords Tattoo Studio

Having spent quite a lot of time and money experimenting with different tattoo artists I still couldn't decide who to use for the final piece of art that would conclude a journey for me. I had 5 tattoos and all of them to a good standard but for this final piece of the jigsaw I wanted perfection.I was advised to try Shaun from Seven Swords. I was told he was a very nice guy and down to earth. But more importantly his work was of a very high standard. The detail that went into my friend's Sleeve looked incredible and I thought I'd get in touch.From the very first initial contact Shaun was very polite and accommodating. He was interested in the motives for the tattoo and was able to fit me in at a time that was really convenient.On arrival what hit me was the cleanliness of his studio. Some of the art work was exquisite and I was genuinely excited for this tattoo. I personally suffer with muscular problems so I requested that he stop every 20 minutes or so, so I could stretch. This was so important in order to complete the work.If you are looking to use a tattooist in Gloucestershire and are a bit apprehensive of heading into the unknown, I really recommend Shaun and Seven Swords. I was ecstatic with the end product. Although in plenty of pain it was totally outweighed by the perfection that was now displayed proudly down my right arm. I wanted something that encapsulated my life story and this was achieved within a 3 month period.I cannot speak highly enough of this company and whenever people ask me where I got my 'best tattoo' done I say Seven Swords in Cheltenham.

I got a great first tattoo from Scott Owen here last week. He was friendly and enthusiastic during the whole process.He took my basic ideas and turned them into an excellent design and then made sure I was happy with it before we started.During the tattoo, he talked me through everything he was doing and made sure I wasn’t having any issues.The studio itself was completely clean and has a great vibe among the artists that work there. I would recommend this studio and Scott to anyone who is looking to get a tattoo.

Great studio- a super clean, intimate space which, along with the charming,unhurried,calm and attentive Shaun, somehow manages to make you feel like its open just for you.Shaun gave me exactly what I wanted (traditional Sailor Jerry)-took time to position and reposition until it was in exactly the right place-I ended up with a perfectly executed piece and I'll be back for more.Well worth the 200 mile round trip-I chose seven swords after seeing several pieces of his on friends I have in Devon. Anyroad, what more can I say? Fantastic.

Friendly professional and relaxing. These guys are a credit to the art. Best of all is they have a tattoo studio not a salon styled money pit like so many others around the town... cant wait for my next vist..shaun and scott rock:)

I had a Tattoo with Scott Owen, he was an absolute professional, really took the time to understand what I wanted and communicate throughout. His line work and colour work is so crisp and vivid, really happy with my tattoo, so much so, that I had another one on the other arm straight away. And I'm going back for a 3rd!!! I have had people stopping me in the street to compliment me on my tattoo as well. Thanks Scott!

Shaun is a brilliant artist as is Conrad clinically clean and as I saw for myself totally hygienic.Would recommend to everyone that insists on perfection.

Small but great tattoo studio, I have dealt with both Scott and Shaun on various occasions and they both are humble and accommodating to their clients needs. In addition both are great artists and are able to cover a wide range of requirements

Shaun did my first tattoo for me today. He was amazingly patient, calm & made me feel very relaxed, despite my intense nerves! I would recommend him to anyone.

I was tattooed by the lovely skylar! Incredibly friendly and welcoming. She took her time making sure the tattoo was perfect. Made sure i was ok through out the entire appointment. Helped me decide on placement for the tattoo! So incredibly lovely and so talented. Not only do i recommend skylar but also the studio as a whole super clean and cozy.
