Viewed the web site, which stated open from 10am to 4pm in June. Drove to the shop. No sign of life at 10am today. Rang the phone number on the web site and a recorded message told me the shop was shut on Mondays and Tuesdays. Would have been much more impressed if the website had told me that. Wasted my and my wife's holiday time. Not impressed.

A lovely place to hire a bike. Sadly due to time and circumstances, the team were short staffed so we had to wait a bit to get our bike. More fool us for not getting out of bed earlier and not booking. It's a great location to start cycling from, we managed to get two children over 25km down to bideford (several great pubs) and back again . Great flat routes along the harbour side.Would hire again, but if it's summer do book in, and come early.

Helpful, friendly, thorough service at good prices. They have a hand cycle and a wheelchair bike which was great for us as one of our group had a broken leg. Highly recommend and we'll be back.

Bike hire business Ideally situated next to the Tarka Trail, which is a bicycle path made from a former railway track. Easy to cycle south to Torrington, about 11 miles away. Very helpful proprietor. Recommended!

If there was a 6 star option, I'd definitely choose that! At Biketrails, they provided a friendly and dedicated service to ensure we had fantastic days out. They have many options for adults and children alike and helped us select the best suited cycles and tandems, all with utmost patience. We look forward to visiting again!!

Fantastic service from James and the boss . Recently moved to Fremington ,the team did a full service on my ancient bike ,sorted out my bike helmet and helped my husband with a better seat . Can’t recommend highly enough great service and very professional .
