Great gym with very knowledgeable coaches and high level of NoGi BJJ.Students have a range of experience, sizes and skill level so you will find a training partner suitable for you and rolling with everyone is encouraged.Very welcoming gym and glad I was able to train there while I lived in Winchester!

I've only recently joined 'Iron sharpens Iron', but since coming I've felt really welcomed by the whole club. I'm brand new to the sport with no prior experience of BJJ, but coach Omar has been really clear in his coaching and I'm starting to see progress already. I would highly recommend this club to anyone.

Amazing place, great people. Omar is a great professor who really takes his time to explain different details and techniques. The level of jiu jitsu is definitely high here and would highly recommend.

I've been in Winchester on a three week course and enquired about training at ISI, as it was recommended to me. The training hasn't disappointed, the coach is very knowledgeable and gives one on one instruction to all his students. Even though I've been training as a guest, I have been made to feel like one of the team and am looking forward to my next session.

I went to my first session and was immediately impressed with the respectful and knowledgeable atmosphere.I am a relative beginner in ju jitsu, and without exception my rolling partners were courteous and considerate of this.I started tiring and took a time out whilst the rolling continued. Coach Omar was very respectful of my need to rest, emphasising that it's good to know one's limits etc. He also emphasised that there there is no 'macho posturing' (my words not his) at Iron Sharpens Iron, which is essential in a combat sport. I have trained at other combat gyms wherein there is sometimes a 'heroic' attitude which ultimately, to my mind, discourages and disillusions...which is the polar opposite of what I train for.Coach Omar's teaching is clear and direct.I will certainly be signing up for the long term.Issa

I’m just about to head to my sixth session at ISI and could not recommend it more highly. Both welcoming and challenging, not only the coaches but the entire team are patient, extremely competent, and supportive. Omar and the team create a positive learning environment, where at the end of every session you’re already looking forward to the next.
