Top quality garden care by Finest Gardens. These are serious gardeners who really know their stuff. Over the last few years they have maintained and improved my difficult, large garden, coping with floods, ponds and drainage, huge fallen trees, lawns, flower beds, plants and just about everything else. Good gardener but unreliable, poor communication and surprisingly dishonest. Wouldn't recommend.We hired Wendy to help us maintain our recently landscaped garden and to help us plant out our borders. We were very up-front in that we wanted someone regular and long-term to help us stay on top of weeding and lawn care and to help us plant out our borders. We were told this wouldn't be a problem.Initial signs were positive. The quality of service in the first visit was good. Communication was slow (sometimes non-existent) but we just assumed that she was busy – perfectly understandable just after lockdown.After a couple of no-shows we managed to get her in for a second visit. After finishing up she said she would be back the following week. Nothing. I messaged her but just radio silence.It turns out that she had cut through the perimeter wire that goes around our lawn, preventing our robot mower from working. Unfortunately, fixing it isn't possible as the turf has been lifted. It sounds trivial but this has caused us all manor of issues and inconvenience as we don't have a normal mower.If we had known right away we could've resolved it, it genuinely wouldn't have been an issue. It's just the complete lack of honesty that disappointed us. We were friendly, flexible and paid on the day – it would've been nice if the respect had been reciprocated.It's a shame, I don't really leave reviews, but I really wouldn't recommend her.
